Hello and welcome, Janet Beckers here with your Wonderful Web TV tip of the week. We're
up to video number 7 in our series on "Why won't my product sell?" So, before you go
slashing the price because you think it's too expensive, come and have a look inside
and we'll come up with another idea that might be causing the problem.
So this is a question we're getting a lot in our Inner Circle on our Q&A calls about
"why my product isn't selling? Why am I not making more money from the product that I
sell?"
Now here is something you might not want to hear. Sometimes I see people put sales pages
together and honestly it could written anybody. It doesn't have anything that makes you stand
out from other people.
Just think about how many sales pages you've seen where people are talking about "You can
make money in your sleep." Honestly, it's just hyper, hyper, hyper and it's impersonal
and it could be written by anybody and a lot of times it's some kind of sales letter that
people have just adapted or copied and it could be anybody.
You can't feel a connection with those people and it's a bit of a hype. I know it's difficult
when you first starting to write sales letters but you've got to put "you" in there. You
can talk as if you're just talking to that person, it doesn't have to be in their face,
you can tone it down and actually connect with story; talking about the kind of people
you've worked with, about you're so passionate about doing this.
You can be doing it through video, you can be doing it through photo, you can do it in
a story that you tell in your sales page. But if it's just a cookie kind of sales letter
that could be 10 trillion service providers giving a similar product with similar messages,
you're not going to convert as well.
People really want to connect with you. So, are you being authentic? Are you putting up
your own style? Because people will connect with you. What can you add in to your sales
page that's going to give them a little bit of you, so they feel they're actually going
to be connecting with real people and not some hyped up sales letter.
Love to hear from you. Different ways you've thought of to be able to add that spice of
you, spice of your business, your company into your sales pages. Share them down below
because I know I'll be able to learn from you and people who are watching and may not
be commenting, they're going to learn from any questions or any comments and things you
contribute.

Bye!
