Howdy folks hows it going welcome to my *** kitchen today i'm showing you how to make
some caramel popcorn as requested by Kamal Ellilaf what an amazing name.
Looks amazing right now I love popcorn as much as anyone I love it nearly as much as
I love Mrs Barry so i'm in Her good books right now if you wanna have a go at making
this hit pause on the video now and write all these ingredients down, this is how we
do it. First up get a lovely large pan over a medium
flame on your hob pour in your vegetable oil, get it nice and warm then plonk in your popcorn
kernels. Now is it just me but when you think of the word popcorn kernels you think of colonels
in the army 'get down and give me twenty you son of a' anyhow with the oil nice and hot
and those kernels in that bath of loving, give it a couple of minutes then wait for
that magic to happen. Once it gets popping it won't stop it was popping so much the lid
was coming off it was like it was like it was at a bubblewrap festival.
Empty and clean your pan then plonk in your butter, honey and caster sugar stir it all
through until it's nice and melted then leave it alone don't stir it, crank up that heat
until it begins to bubble. With your caramel ready turn your heat down to a low tip in
your popped popcorn and give it a good stir round with a spatula getting it all nice and
coated in that caramel that is looking amazing. Make sure it's all fully coated before tipping
it into a nice baking tray spreading it all out and letting it cool down naturally baby.
So once it's all done plonk it into your storage vessel of choice this is a lovely looking
jar if I was to receive this as a gift i'd be pretty darn happy right now it tastes amazing
that's still slightly warm too I should have left that maybe a little longer but I couldn't
resist it amazing so simple so easy so quick you can add nuts spices really different textures
so many flavours working their way through it thanks Kamal for the recipe suggestion
if you enjoyed this video don't forget to give it a thumbs up, share, subscribe, comment
