"When we left Ouagadougou, they asked me to do better than the other Africa Cups of Nations
(go further than Burkina Faso has gone before in the tournament) that means, with one (more)
victory, our tournament was successful, but I told the players we don't go to Nelspruit,
we don't make preparations for just one game. We go to play and I told them we're going
to play the semi-final if we can qualify (from) the first round. So I have also been giving
the players the confidence and belief in themselves. I think it's very important. Sow the psychological
seed and you are prepared, but the target was to do better than the other Africa Cup
of Nations and one draw against Nigeria and beating Ethiopia, it was already party time
in Ouagadougou, so... and we did a little bit better than this, so Im very proud, very
happy about this..."
"For sure, because this is our fifth game we play at Mbomela Stadium, so the players
are slightly... a little bit at home. Unfortunately, we know the pitch, but it's for both sides
so I think psychologically, we can have an advantage against Ghana. In percentage, we
have to see the game, but in the head, it's also important."
