I think my Northeast team has been to one too many Jed Buenaluz
events over there.
But first: How are you all doing?
Everybody doing good?
My name is Richard, I'm from Myrtle Beach, South Carolina
where we say "Y'all"
And to make me feel at home, on the count of three I want
you guys to say "Y'all" as loud as you can.
One, two, three...
Very good, very good.
Recently I just learned that I'm no longer YPR
I just turned 30 and apparently I'm in the OPR now.
Joining Michelle Barnes, I think she just turned 30 as well.
When I joined Vemma 5 Years ago she looked exactly the same.
I don't know what she's doing, but drinking Vemma - It works.
Firtst off I want to say "Thank you" to my team.
Everybody, when they do work in Vemma you're sacrificing
It's a sacrifice to come here
and some sacrifice more than others
and now that I'm 30 and I'm married and I have two kids it's a sacrifice
not only for me to come but it's a sacrifice for my wife to be at home
with the two kids. I want to thank her.
I also want to thank the YPRs I have on my team because
as I'm exiting this whole YPR thing I have Leaders like
Jeffrey Jensen and Jason Jensen who are destroying it. Great Leaders!
My newest Presidential Leader up in the Northeast: Ian Lennhard
And what's so cool is: Brad and Alex and all these guys who are talking
about the second wave or the third wave
I think I was one of the first waves when I got in.
I was 25 - which was young.
Now I'm obviously old...
This is like the 100th wave for me.
It's really cool to come in and not only now for me to be Elite
but to have Elite Leaders on my team and the third wave is still gonna
have Elite Leaders on their team
the whole point of this event, Nr.1 is to build belief.
Raise your hand if your belief is higher now than when you first came in
And that's what it's all about. The second one is training
so that when you leave here, you can apply that belief
you're gonna apply what you're learning.
This event is for you, but it's not really just for you because
if you don't take this back to the people who couldn't come
then it did nothing.
And I assume most of you have more people that didn't make it than
did make it.
So if you don't take what you learned here and apply it,
then this is all just a party weekend.
It's just having fun with your friends, seeing friends you haven't
seen in a while.
I know when I got here I ran into Josh Noble
in the hotel lobby and I hadn't seen him in a while
so it was good to catch up, but that's all it is if you don't take
and apply it. And that's what we're gonna do.
So today my talk is on training and really, is on
the Compensation Plan.
When I got this topic I thought "Ah, the Compensation Plan.
Just go to the back office, click on Compensation Plan and read it."
That's what I did, but it's amazing how many people don't do that, though.
And if you're not doing it - guess what's happening-
Your team is not doing it. It's not duplicating.
So, real quick, we're gonna do a little participation:
Raise your hand if you've got a fast start bonus,
if you ever made a fast start bonus.
Pretty much everybody's hands. Pretty much everybody.
Raise your hand if you had a cycle.
A lot of people are cycling...
Raise your hand if you have free product.
That's a lot less hands.
Raise your hand if you made a global bonus.
Still a lot less hands.
Raise your hand if right now you're qualified for 2nd tier matching bonus
Still a lot less hands, guys.
And here's the thing: BK and his
genious decided to not give us one form of income, one bonus
like if you had a job, you'd trade dollars for hours.
He gave us 9. We have 9 bonuses.
But so few of us take advantage of that.
And I don't know about you but I think Brad's bonus of over 70000$ last week
should inspire you
to get that global bonus.
That alone should be enough.
But here's why:
Nr.1 - Here's why you need to get free product
BK already talked about it.
That customer loyalty - Here's why:
Nr.1: Retention. Who in here has ever had someone quit?
If they were getting free product, they most likely wouldn't have quit.
So Nr.1 - That's huge!
Nr.2 is gonna help out with the whole "getting a customer base"
not just a pyramid scheme. Not people just signing up to sign up other people
to sign up other people. Even though we're all consumers of the product,
we have a great product.
And when I first got in, there was no YPR.
I built my business off of adults. I've enrolled over 100 people.
and the thing is
most of them were customers.
It wasn't until the whole YPR came around that
everybody forgot about the customers that just wanted to enjoy the product
and just went into business mode, because we want duplication, obviously.
but here's the thing:
Customers bring sustainability.
Customers bring long-term residual income.
And that's why they are so important.
And the Frenzy-Bonus...
I mean that's pretty self-explanatory.
You make a lot of money, but if you help someone frenzy
in their first week and they have checked all their friends that said "no"
not as a belief builder.
Why wouldn't you want that? Why wouldn't you want to build belief?
When I was talking to Brad backstage he was talking to me about
the teams he sees growing the fastest and having the most success
are the ones that sit down and game-plan
Tom Alkazin calls it The Road Map Strategy session
You guys can call it whatever you want but it's the teams that
the day they sign up or that night or the next day they go out to lunch
They sit down at Subway and say: "What's your why?"
You gotta have that. I heard someone say:
"If your why doesn't make you cry, it's not strong enough."
So dig down. What's your why?
and then also...
Set up events!
Set up home events, create that contact list.
I love...
what Joseph was saying. He was getting everybody excited and hyped
"How many times people create contact lists but don't contact the people?"
If you don't do what you want to do you won't get the results
You actually have to do it.
I was a personal trainer for 9 years and so many people said:
"Richard, I want to lose weight!" They come to me, I train them,
they don't lose weight and I say: "How is your diet?"
"Well, I had pizza here, I had chicken wings here.."
They wanted to lose weight, but they didn't want it bad enough.
They didn't want to lose weight more then they wanted to give up the food.
And here in the room, If I said: "Do you want it?"
You would say: "Yes!"
But then you'll be playing video games tonight or tomorrow
and you'll be watching college football on the weekends instead
of doing home events. You want it, but you don't want it
more than that football game.
You don't want it more than sacrificing other things.
That's what we want to do here: To get you to want this more
If you want it. If you really want it.
You have to sit there with your newest person and game-plan.
Set that game-plan. Get their why and also set up the events,
get them to create their contact list and get them to work doing that.
That's going to help build this.
Right now I want to get everybody here to stand up.
I want to get everybody here to stand up.
Why did you guys stand up?
I asked you.
How hard was it to get 3500 people to stand up?
It wasn't -You can go ahead and sit down.
I just wanted to show you that you have to tell people sometimes
what to do. If you don't sit someone down, and teach them
the Compensation Plan, if you don't do the game-plan
they're not going to do it on their own.
A lot of times, when people join Vemma they have that employee-mindset
They don't know any different.
And if their boss doesn't give them something to do, are they going to do
anything, or are they going to sit on the phone and do Facebook in the back?
They need someone to tell them what to do
And that's why, as we train people to switch from their employee-mindset
to entrepreneur-mindset you have to actually give them something to do.
Say: "Hey, set up these two home-events!"
"Create that contact list! Let's start contacting!"
You can't expect them to do it on their own.
Here's my mistake:
I got in and when I first got in, I studied the Compensation Plan
I went down the back office, I enrolled and enrolled
but I didn't teach and therefore I didn't duplicate.
And we all want duplication.
And with the duplication, you can only duplicate what you do.
So if you're not enrolling, if you're not learning, if you're not training
and you're not doing personal development,
there's a good chance your team is not.
Because if you duplicate with 0, you're not gonna get much
return on that investment.
You have to put in the work to get that.
You also have to be the person you want to attract.
I love when Darren Hardy taught that the greatest networker
out there was Jesus Christ.
Think about that. He went out there and he said:
"Follow me!" 12 people followed and guess what happened.
It's crazy. The biggest religion in the world.
So think about that:
He attracted them because of the person he became by simply saying
"Follow me!"
Are people going to want to follow you?
Are you that person that is attractive to other people?
Because if you're not, you need to change that.
If what you're posting on Instagram, if what you're posting on Facebook,
if one day Vemma is the best thing in my life and the next day you're
complaining about your girlfriend...
It's not that attractive.
You have to be the person that attracts the type of people
you want to bring in your business.
I encourage you to study the Compensation Plan,
learn how to do the bonuses. The numbers are all there
Brad lays it out every time he does events.
You get 5 people on each side of your business, you're breaking even on your
product if you're momentum bonus qualified plus the cycle bonus.
Break even or get 3 customers and your product is free.
That's Nr.1
Now let's get you to quit your job like he says all the time.
Part-Time...
20h a week at 10$/h you're not gonna make that much.
Let's get you to Gold.
Look at those numbers, then look at the numbers for 6 figures.
You just gotta look at the numbers and if you don't know them,
you can't teach them.
I want to thank you for coming and I want you to make the decision today
that you're gonna take action, that you're gonna make a commitment
and then you're gonna have success and be here one year from now.
Thank you guys very much.
