In Latin America, violence is an increasing threat to freedom of the press.
"Who killed Miguel PŽrez Julca?"
"Corruption did!"
In the last 15 years 258 journalists were killed

Hundreds of families and newsrooms are in mourning for the deaths of journalists
To me he was such a good human being.
The kind you just don't see anymore.
From that moment onwards, since they killed him
it's as if we're more dead than alive.
Faced with government inaction to control the violence

No story is a worth a life.
That's absolutely clear.
It's not a time for heroes.
The government is overwhelmed. We're defenseless.

As long as the situation in this country persists
for journalists, it's going to be very difficult to fulfill our duty to the public
