'Atoms are smallet than electrons.'
'Antibiotics kill viruses'
'A normal plant does not have ADN, but a transgenic one have it' And more stuff
we need to eliminate
I am going to talk in the video about an article of José Miguel Mullet, a Biotechnology professor
at the Polytechnic University of Valencia. The above data are
from an study financiated by BBVA
and recently, so I think we should get alarmed because this
ignorance
Talking about when you have a virus they say you to take antibiotics,
it has arrrived also to some doctors, so Social Security
is wasting money in antibiotics
which are innecesary because people have viruses
And viruses
does not cure with antibiotics
and about normal plants does not have DNA
Really?
The worst is that this percentage
is repited in so much european countries
A little alarming
With this kind of data
is logic to think
that in Europe biotechnology is like 'Oh, My God,
they are going to make me trangenic and they will kill me because it is bad and dangerous.'
Really?
European do not want transgenic
so there are strong laws against investigating with transgenic. Europe
only allow to cultive one variety of transgenic maize : MON810
but it is obligatory to put on the label that
it is trangenic
so it is only destinated
to animal alimentation
Spain is the country where it is cultivated, and the one who export it to the rest of the countrys
so inside the bad
something good we can get... or not.
Another company
that invert twelve years
and so much money
to get a transgenic plant
that need less chemical products
to go ahead
which save lot of money
in the production and less ambiental impact
After they get the authorisation, the german government take out some problems
and this compnay had to move from Europe to USA
and if they can do it to a big company
what they haven`t done
to other smaller companys or people
who want to go ahead
and try to create work in this sector. This translate in what we know
take out the big oprtunities to the development of more useful products
for the consumer, the farmy and the europe industry in general. But more over,
We are hypocrites!Taking out the example of the corn, we can't cultivate anything
that is transgenic
but we can import prodcuts derivated of them
I explain, in Spain, cotton farmers cultivated conventional varieties
if cotton, and they have to fight versus pests, such as the red worn ,
with chemical products. On the other hand,
in India and Australia
cultivated transgenic cotton that is tolerant to these kind of pests
so they save money, a money that the spain farmer wasted.
In conclusion, a cheaper product
Beacuse it is cheaper, everybody buys it. So in all Europe
there is transgenic cotton from India and Australia. And you could say
'That does not affect to the small farmer'. If he has to use less pesticide
he save money and work hours
The most curious of the normative
about labeling of ecologic products is that it only affect to
food
So, a lot of
clothes cataloged as ecologic,
are made with transfenic cotton. You just need to see
form where is yout t-shirt
and if they explicit say it is not trangenic.
and we could say
more examples
like wheat for celiac developed by the CSIC
but it
will never go inside the market
beacuse law prevent it
Maybe in the future an American businessman
will buy this wheat, comercialice it
and then we will buy it
Im so sorry the video is more serius than normal
but, when
I have seen
the percentages
of what people say
I have hallucinated
and I have said "this can not be, I have to make a video"
I hope it has not been so long. In the description
I give you the article of this professor, that more or less is what I have been talking
so go and leave him a comment on the artichle if it seems
interesting, I have only used this platform to dilvugate it
así que todo el mérito es suyo so all the merit is of him 0:05:08.939,0:05:11.150 We must overcome the fear of transgenic
Without science there is no future
¡Hasta luego guaraneros!
