The mechanism is this: first the enabler, who is the person at the base,
identifies and diagnoses the plantation.
First, the diagnose is made,
then the county goes to categorize the plantation
as “started in the path of agroecology".
Then, the province categorizes it as “in agroecological transformation".
Finally, the national group categorizes it as “agroecological plantation".
After we embraced the new methodology, the work has been a lot more comfortable.
It wasn’t done this way before,
this means, the enabler was the one diagnosing,
and we realized that there were some difficulties in that way.
After the training we received from ANAP’s National School,
that we received in the form of courses
to be able to transfer them to the enablers afterwards,
and the enablers to the producers.
This is, to guide the work in that way.
That is the basic mechanism that we used.
We got trained from the methodological standpoint
and from the technological standpoint through the institutes.
This means that we have an annual plan at the institutes,
and this annual plan is based in the fundamental set of problems
that different cooperatives have.
This set of problems starts being worked out and solved,
by training ourselves first, then training the enablers,
and the enablers to the promoters,
for them to deploy the agroecological agriculture at their base.
