Get to Fresher's Week, just meet, meet - honestly,
you will meet so many people.
I, I have met in Fresher's Week well over 1,000 new people.
Just because it's just so busy and there's
so much to do I would.
Like, you know of people, like I knew of Amy and I knew Ewan.
But it's just there's so much going on.
Like you just - we were going, we went to the Ceilidh
as an example and there were lots of people there
that I didn't know and at the Fresher's helper just found out
and we got somebody and we danced with them
and we moved onto the next person.
By the end of it everybody was dancing with everybody,
Yeah.
It was great, like everybody was getting to know people
and they were sitting down and having drinks.
Like I think I dance with a Canadian, an Austrian,
and an Australian and I was like, 'Oh hi', it was great.
If there's any international students I recommend
going there.

When I first came here I saw school where I take the bus
and they welcomed us and told us, told us how to live here
and tell us how to have fun in Strathclyde.

It's pretty central, I have to say.
I thought getting here would be a bit of a mission,
because I was living in East Kilbride last year.
But because it is literally so central, you can pretty much get
to here from any like little outlying town outside.
You, you come how much on the train?
Seven minutes,
So there you go, seven minutes on the train from Bishopbriggs.
Seven minutes on the train from Bishopbriggs.

Brilliant, yeah.
Yeah, I would recommend that for anybody coming to study here.
It's just the best way to get to know everyone.

You came to Strathclyde and it was literally like boom,
like let's go and talk, everybody's casual,
just like the student union,
and you know just straight away they're just
like friendly, instantly friendly.
Did you come to the introductory lecture?
Yeah, yeah, he gets you hooked -
Like as soon as you step in the door, they get you hooked,
just like, 'Yes, I want to come here.'

The discussion rooms in the library are amazing.
Like, cause the library is quiet,
but they've got these little rooms and you just go in
and it's just a ball of noise, and I can't study in quiet.
Have you been in since it's been done.
Have you seen...
No I haven't seen it.
Oh, it's amazing.
Is it, oh right.
There's a massive like computer screen its, It's totally -
there's a million computers and then there a bit to study.
Wow. See, every day is a school day.
Laughter...
