For the next one - the principles of the awakening - is "Knowing Vs Owning". This is one
of my favourite ones, because what happens is because most of us come to events like
this -- of personal development; anything (like this) -- we come here, we take lots
of notes and we think, "Wow! That is a great line. Oh my God, this is some amazing stuff.
This information is brilliant." We write all the notes and then we go back home and
it becomes 'shelf development'; we put it on the shelf. First is 'self development'.
And, we have, before we know it - years later, we have all the manuals from all the courses
we have attended -- on our bookshelves with all the certificates on the wall as well,
by the way, showing us how amazing we are and life still hasn't shifted. Has anybody
else felt that way? I have.
When I was forty-five grand in debt: lots of certificates and books and nothing else's
shifted. The only difference that happened is that when I started to apply what I knew
to create the change; that is why it is "Knowing Vs Owning". You can know all the stuff;
it's about 'are you living it'; because visualisation without action is delusion.
"We all want to go to heaven but nobody wants to die". You have to take action to
achieve to whatever you want to achieve. I said this earlier as well: knowing comes on
different levels. Just because you know one thing on one level doesn't mean you it on
all levels. Does this make sense? And this 'knowing' is an important part by the
way; knowing is important. When you know it, it comes in your awareness. That is first
step of ownership. So please don't underestimate all of your bookshelf's books. They do serve
a purpose or they did serve a purpose and now is the time to start living it.
So, what I am going to go through is the three stages of ownership. The first one is .... Oh,
before this, I would like to just quickly read this one, "It doesn't matter how
many resources you have. If you don't know how to use them, they will never be enough."
True? That is why we get stuck in that cycle of "Oh I got into that course and I wanted
to know this one, this one". Anybody else feel that way?
If I become a certificate in this thing, then I will start my practice. If I do this, then
I will do this and we have piles of information and don't know what to do with it. One of
my mantras is that "I don't have to get it right; I just have to get it going".
Pick a tool and apply; and one of the restrictions I made on myself when I started these courses,
especially when I was developing my career in professional development, until I have
done one course, until and unless I've applied the information on that course and made money
back, I won't sign up to another course. That happens a lot: we have too many courses
going on, all at the same time, and then we juggle too many balls. Has anybody else been
there?
Yeah, many times. Just pick one and go all the way through until you get the results.
Stop testing it; pick one and go. There is a reason why you're in this room. And I
said this to the team earlier, "London is actually saturated with events". Is it not?
You get so many emails, bombarded with emails, saying 'this course is happening and these
three courses and this evening course'. So, you have so many choices. There is a reason
why Universe has put you in this room. Does that make sense? There is a reason why you
are here and not in somebody else's room. Make the most of it and know wherever you
are, you are in the right room or the right place. That is what most people struggle with:
they feel that they are missing out on something. And that is why they keep testing. I invite
you for this weekend- just test it, experience it to the max and see. "Let me just, let
me play full on and of full out and just see if this is for me". Does that make sense?
So you are actually being full out, a hundred percent here, testing it and not thinking
"shoot, I knew I could have done that NOP thing this weekend or that thing that weekend".
I had somebody come up to me and say, "I have three courses going on, so, I was thinking
of doing the morning with The Awakening, and then go back evening and I've this course
and come back Sunday afternoon, can I do that." I said, "No. Once you are in, you're in."
Be here fully present. Only then you will be able to structurally create something that
will get you the other side. So, the first step of Ownership is Awareness. Once you become
aware of these tools, these personal development things, you think, wow, visualisation, I can
manipu ... All of you have heard of 'Laws of attraction'? Anybody hasn't heard of
'Laws of Attraction'?
You haven't heard of laws of attraction? Sorry, in physics? Yes? Oh brilliant! My physics
isn't that strong, but thank you for that. So, 'you get what you attract', laws of
attraction says. So, what people started doing when they became aware of this is started
visualising, goal setting and manifesting and sometimes it works and sometimes it doesn't
work. True? Sometimes you manifest, you manifest, you visualise, and suddenly the thing that
you want manifested and sometimes no matter how hard you visualise, no matter what actions
you take, they won't manifest. Anybody else experience that?
And two things happen: either we resent the tools and say, "oh this doesn't bloody
work" and leave everything and live their life in resentment or they keep going on with
it. And I saw the nest level, when you hit a point when you realise no matter how hard
you try, things still won't shift until they are supposed to shift. Anybody else felt
that? No matter how hard you try, things won't shift until they are meant to shift. And sometimes,
you don't even do a thing, and those things will show up. All you have to do is a movement
of energy and boom, before you know it, right people, right contents, right things and everything
sorted? Anybody felt that? That is because you are on the next level: Surrender.
So after when it is surrender, you realise that actually there is nothing I can do to
shift it. Only I can do my best and if it is in the highest, it will manifest. If it
is not, something else will show up.
