There’s always stuff going on on campus. There’s always things to do, people to meet. There’s different events that go on.
The community of Mankato is just growing. It is an awesome place to be. It’s changed so much in just the four years that I’ve been here.
There’s so many new businesses. So many different opportunities for the students of Minnesota State Mankato
to get involved, not only with the campus as a community but Mankato as a whole.
Mankato is a really great place to live. There’s lots of places to eat. There’s lots of places to go out to and have a good time.
There’s lots of shopping. I think overall Mankato really offers everything you could want in a city and it’s been great living here.
The Minnesota State Mankato campus is just great. We’ve really got a great student body here that really wants to be involved.
We’ve got lots of activities and clubs, organizations and our sports here are great. There’s always something to do
and if not, there’s always good friends to go hang out with.
I chose to come to Minnesota State University, Mankato because of the size. It’s something not to big but not too small.
I’m always meeting someone new but yet as I’m walking to classes I’m seeing those familiar faces. My favorite thing to do is
definitely attend the athletic events. It’s something to connect with all the students from all over, upper classman, lower classman.
It’s very fun and it’s exciting to be at.
What I like about the campus is that it’s a smaller campus with a big campus feeling. The people there are very nice. Just not in
the campus but around town. I love downtown Mankato. There’s a lot of small “mom and pop” shops which is something
that I love. There’s a new part of town and an older part of town, you’ll love both sides of town.
I chose Minnesota State because it seemed to have the balance of all the different things that I wanted out of a school.
The class sizes are good. The community is very strong. And there’s a lot to do around the city. I feel very welcomed here.
That's how I felt from the first time I stepped on this campus.
