Some people just don't want help, and it's a foreign concept to most of us because,
you know, if you're somebody that develops yourself and you look at things and
you say, "There's an obvious answer here. It's an obvious choice what you should
do." And when you give advice to someone and they're not listening,
they're not doing it. They don't want help.
Now, you might think it's because they don't care. It's because, you know,
they're apathetic, which is sometimes the case, but oftentimes,
people that don't want help, that don't want to do anything
about their scenario, they're actually not wanting to face the
pain of the choice and the scenario. So there's too much pain for them.
They're not ready to take that leap yet and actually face it and take it on.
And that's the thing that separates a lot of the people that are
into self-development and they're into kind of looking in and looking at their
darkness and overcoming things and going through the struggle.
They're really strong people, right? And we forget this. There's a lot
of people that they don't want help. They don't want to look at that.
They don't want to go through the process. They don't want to, even for a minute,
think about, "Oh, wait a minute. You know, I do have issues. I do have problems,"
and they're not there yet, and that's okay. We've all been there
at some point. At some point, someone came and tried to help us, and we said,
"No, I'm not doing that right now. I'm not ready for that just yet,"
and there are a lot of people that are still like that. So it doesn't make sense
to us because we're not like that, and we think, "Well, no. Wait. Why not take
this advice? It's obvious." But some people are just not ready.
