I used to draw a lot of wood print on my project, so when I saw you guys request this, I was
happy to make a tutorial showing a couple ways to you can make it.
One way is with simple lines. I start with a knot you would usually see in a wood grain.
Then surround that shape with lines. Think of the lines as like layers, growing around
the knots and trying to stay linear in the same direction.
Then I make the bottom of what would be a larger knot above the paper.
Try not to make the lines so perfect, it looks more natural when the lines are organic.
You can make the knots big or small, just make sure to add lines in the mix as well.
So that’s one way, the other way is using the same method, but making the ends of the
grain thicker.
I hope this video gave you an idea of wood patterns you can try to make on your projects.
