You are an international referee, which are your tasks at the competition?
I’m simply, judge-referee. During summer I have to take decisions after various
dilemmas, to collect the results from the other judges, which I hope
they’re doing their job correctly. Or else we will not have any dilemmas.
Ιs the preparation of Jeux sans frontières exhaustive, as well as for someone to be a referee and judging?
In reality, I follow all the preparation of the teams, I welcome them as well,
I test the games, make sometimes the rules of the games,
checking if all the games are working well, if the rules are fair and let’s say if everything working well for everyone.
Finally, not very tired? 0:00:54.000,0:00:56.000 No, we can't say that, we could have never said we are tired 0:01:02.000,0:01:03.000 Why did you decide to be part of JSF crew? 0:01:03.000,0:01:04.000 For money, the fun or maybe the sport of this competition? 0:01:04.000,0:01:07.000 In the past I used to be kinda an athlete, I was an artist of the circus 0:01:07.000,0:01:10.000 and loved the sport: I was a teacher of physical education.
But I was forced to abandon because of an injury.
Of course I’m still interested in sport competitions and that’s why I’m here in JSF for the fourth time
In the past I was also designer of games as well.
Which game you think, that is the most difficult in the heat of Rhyl?
No doubt, it’s the game 2, the Tower of the Queen.
But I would say that it isn’t so difficult at the end to accomplish it,
just you have to think a better way to do it.
Most of teams didn’t estimate correctly the parameters of this game.
If you would choose a game to play, which would be?
I would say the game two of course, the Tower.
Final question. Yesterday you were drinking a beer. Which brand of beer you prefer?
A tricky question for a Belgian. But I would say that belgian beers
are my favorite and I think that they are the best in the world.
You know any beer from Czech Republic?
Of course I know, I have tasted one of Pilsen, the Pilsner Urquel
and it wasn’t bad at all. I hope I can taste one soon again.
