Hello*, my name is Diego Munoz
Today I wish to share with you my knowledge about the pre and post SEND
There is I create this Little example of a Hard Rock capture (Song)
made by myself
so, please, excuse any imperfection
in the instrument execution
and, of course, for my pronunciation*
First of all, this sample show you how we can automate
in a very singular way
the amplitude*
of this two rhythmic Guitar
controlled every time that the Lead guitar came up
To do that, fist I send
this two signal
routed to
one single auxiliary track
I make that by sending
the output to the RythmGTR bus
And In I/O I receive the signal (in AUX)
from that bus And route the Output to MAIN
Which I control using these key (FADER)
you know the famed there may be a tab ice and therefore over there and
favorable directly to the main closer which is that
In other way, in the Lead Guitar,
Also I created a SEND of the Lead Signal
PRE
in this TRACK
which is a SIDECHANNEL bus
first i wish to show you how this work without SEND
so, As you can see
the signal
the amplitude of this two rhytmic Guitar
are close to
-6dB
and at the same time the power (amplitude) of the Lead Guitar is about the same
so I wish to control
the amplitude of the rhytmic guitar
so what I am doing is SEND the full signal
in PRE Send
which is the FULL amplitude BEFORE Fader and Effects
to this SIDE CHAIN
and also
I introduced a compressor into these
Intro this AUXILIARY Track
which is controlled
by this chain (BUS - Lead Guitar)
of course, to control the signal coming for the two Guitars
and compress it
using this (BUS signal)
First of all I need to indicate
that is SIDE CHAINNED
and then
just make a little
adjustment in the ratio,
attack (clearly fast, the release which is
smoothly
let me show you
how this mix* work
