So I showed you how to insert a battery, your other option for power is using your, plugging
your camera in directly into your wall. Obviously this is only going to work when you have an
outlet nearby so I definitely recommend getting those longer lasting batteries and not even
worrying about this, but basically you are going to take your charger and instead of
using it to charge your battery you are going to use it to connect your camera to the wall
so we'll hook up the outlet side just like that and then we want to take this little
doohickey and plug it in up here and then just like you inserted the battery you are
going to take this and open up your battery case and then with the arrow pointing toward
the lens of the camera that is how you insert it. And just like a battery slide it in till
it clicks. It releases the same way too, right here, but you have got this cord to mess with
so what they have done for that is when you close it, you see there is kind of a little
opening here to let you run the cord out, that you don't need when you have a battery
obviously, but when you have a cord just open that up and let it go straight down and then
just like the battery, to get it out we'll just release it right here and it pops right
out so that is how you can plug your XH A1 into the wall if you need to, but like I said,
I really like using batteries and not even having to mess with plugging it into to the
wall. The only reason I would plug into the wall is if I was going to put it on a tripod
and was just going to shoot for hours and we're not moving so that's how you plug your
camera into the wall.
