>> COLLIN: So we searched through hundreds of samples, I mean I got books and books.
So I end up picking Turner because it’s the nicest colour red I could find to go with
the black. I picked a patterned black, and the main reason I picked this black is because
there’s a little bit of wood grain behind all the gauges on the dash, and I needed something
to cover that up and make it look modern. So I picked this. So I’m going to be incorporating
a bit of this throughout the interior. Like this will end up being the passenger side,
kick panel pocket. I guess if we can kind of mock it up there. Look something like so.
And you’ll just see that inside the pocket. This is going to be the new carpet of the
Volvo P1800. Nice red. Very deep, it’s going to contrast nicely with the seats. It’ll
all be handmade, new underlay, stitching, binding, front to back.
>> COLLIN: Yeah so we got two of the arm rests done for the car. Nice padded parts of the
door panels. More of an insert piece. Every panel in the car is cut new. Every door panel,
all the backings. This is a rear quarter, driver’s side. Here’s a top part, with
the fitting beside. Here we’ll use this one. This one will fit in eventually. Fit
in like so, somewhere around there.
