Mr. Fudge! Your Balloon Man (dot com)
Hey guys! It's Mr. Fudge, Your Balloon Man, and today we're going to be making A Crab!
For the crab we are going to need three balloons. We will need 2 red and 1 white.
Now, if you're able and capable, we are going to start with the two red and blow them up, of course at the same time
(Wow! did he just blow up two?) just like so, leaving about a hands length at the end.
You are going to tie them seperately because tying them together is just going to leave your crab in knots
and that
would not make him very happy. In fact, it might make him a little extra Crabby
(haha) So you're going to take your one balloon and put it to the side, grab your other balloon and twist a single 1 inch
bubble
Then a little bit longer bubble
Then you are going to take your nozzle and pull it very tight
and wrap it around
and stick it into the center of those two bubbles. That is going to help so that it doesn't come undone on you.
Then you are going to make a 1 inch bubble, then fold,
and pinch and twist. Pinch and twist and fold
so you get a nice little claw that kinda sits to the side.
you're going to go up a little bit further
I like to make him with no crease in his arm
I just go straight to my next ear twist
Now, this is going to be one arm of the crab
Now, this is where you pull out the other balloon and repeat the same thing again. Small bubble, little bit bigger bubble
pull it around and place through the center. Twist a little 1 inch bubble
go a little bit out
pinch and twist to make your ear twist
for those who cant twist as fast as me, now is your time to pause and catch up.
Cool. Now, once you're back, you're going to take either one of these and you're gonna
pinch and twist. These are going to be the legs of the crab.
and you're going to do it to both sides. I know it is so exciting getting to juggle these things.
Then, figure out how fat you want your crab to be. This will be very fat.
This will be very thin
I like to find somewhere in the middle. Once I do that, I pinch and twist one side. Then I pinch and twist the other side.
Then I go back and forth with one or the other of the balloons. I try to keep them kinda even.
Because I dont want one
to get really tight so that it goes boom because that's kinda scary. (ahhh!)
So, we twist that off a little bit more and you get
now a crab with laser vision
shooting ions out the side of its armpits
well, what we do is we break this off
If you are not capable of breaking a balloon like kung fu
You can also take and cut your balloon with scissors
tie it off and either cut off the excess or
stick it inside. or a little of both
as I happened to demonstrate just then.
so that is most of our crab. you can draw eyes and be done
however
we don't skimp on the details
So, we take one more balloon, blow it up just a hairs length. A very long hair's length
And get a couple of eyes twisted just like that. Just a couple of bubbles about the same size
if they are not the same size, that's okay
We're going to untwist them anyway, tie off the other side
and find the center magically again
as we tie them together
just like so. That's going to be your eyes
The also make great finger puppets. (bwah bwah)
And we are going to stick this right in the head of the crab
just like so
and you get a crab that's facing backwards
Or facing me, but that's okay. Then pull out your marker. Gotta have a Sharpie marker
when you're dealing with balloons
If you're going to have a marker pop something, might as well have a Sharpie so that you have an excuse
So then we are going to take our eyes just like this
I like to make those nice long eyes
(i can see!)
A romantic crab is so much more fun. And then you get to make your little crabby guy advertise for you
In fact, we are going to make him say Mr Fudge. There ya go. (start music)
