Welcome to Analog! I am your host, Gerald Smith. Today we're gonna be covering all the
media and game news you need to know. First we're gonna stop by Pandora real quick, and
we're gonna take a little tour with a merc with a mouth, and then we'll end it all on
a casting note no one saw coming. If this is your first time with Analog, please, hold
on and enjoy the ride. Thank you for choosing Analog.
Our top news story this week has us returning to Pandora one more time. Tiny Tina's Assault
on Dragon's Keep was released on June 25th on both Playstation Network and Xbox Live.
The adventure has us following Tiny Tina and the original Vault Hunters as they reminisce
over past events playing Bunkers and Badasses. This DLC includes 11 new enemies as well as
a new vending machine and assorted new weapons to play with. The enemies also range from
orcs to dragons to broomsticks. The game adds 7-11 additional hours of gameplay as well
as new side missions and a new story mission that has a great ending. Now, for those of
you who are wondering if you can still play as your original Vault Hunter character that
you started as, the answer is yes. The only difference is that you are taking part in
the game this time, so you'll get new dialogue options for your character, and Maya, Brick,
Axton and the rest of the cast lend their new voices to the mix. Tiny Tina is the one
who gives missions in the game, so you'll get new dialogue options from her too. It's
a great mix and a great campaign, and you don't want to miss the end because it's actually
pretty awesome. Look for a full review of the DLC in the coming days.
We now break from Pandora to breaking the 4th wall with your friendly neighborhood merc
with a mouth. Deadpool: The Videogame came out on June 25th, supplied by High Moon Studios.
The game follows Deadpool as he goes on a giant romp with his buddies. The game is large
in scope and has a great storyline, and of course the dialogue, voiced by Nolan North,
is gold as always. However, it should be known that this game has had some very mixed reviews,
garnering some shaky points from IGN and Gametrailers. It should be noted that this might be worth
a rent, however if you enjoy the game you should actually go pick it up. Look for a
review coming in a couple days from us. Swinging along, our final report comes from
The Amazing Spider-Man 2 set. It has been confirmed that Shailene *** has been let
go and will depart the film. Now the reason for the departure has been confirmed that
she's going on to complete her role in Divergent, a new film popping up next summer (which will
actually be competing against the new Spider-Man). Now, the internet blew up when Shailene was
cast as MJ, because she didn't "fill the pin up model type" they were looking for. The
internet loves critcizing people, so it should be noted that that is not the reason for her
departure, or at least that's not what they're saying in the official report. The official
report says if Divergent actually becomes a very popular movie and critically acclaimed,
Shailene might not have enough time to devote to Spider-Man 3, in which her character will
be needed heavily. MJ is a major character in the Spider-Man series, so without her available
it would hamper the film. That's all the time we have for today. Please
join us again next week when we go over all the news that you need to know. Thanks for
