Hello I'm Blake with Prima Coffee
in Louisville KY, today we're going to talk about the Baratza Encore Coffee Grinder.
The Baratza Encore replaces the Baratza's Maestro Plus which replaced the Baratza Maestro.
The Encore has a new updated steel conical burr set, that's 40mm and a new updated gear box.
It's a great introductory grinder that is also very flexible.
The Encore can grind for both espresso all the way to French Press and it's very
easy to adjust just by turning the hopper.
The grinder for those of you that want to use it for espresso you can simply take
the hopper out. Adjust the grind setting to very fine for espresso and then you will
take your portafilter, with one touch grinding you can fill the portafilter without having to
do any transfering. For other brewing methods simply adjust your grind to whatever setting
you want, to very coarse for French Press.
Or more medium fine for different pourover methods and you have a simple on off switch.
We really like the Barazta Encore for several reasons, one it has a very solid conical burr
set which is going to give you a nice consistent grind. And as you know with coffee
brewing one of the most important factors is a good grinder. You want to have a consistent
grind whether it's for a coarse grind brew in a French Press or the finer grind for certain pour
over methods, or for very fine grind for espresso, you want to make sure it's nice and consistent.
And the steel conical burr set on the Baratza Encore accomplishes that rather well.
Also the Baratza Encore is the most affordable grinder in it's class with the capability of
doing both espresso and various coffee brewing methods.
And for these reasons and for Barazta's already good reputation with the solid Maestro Plus and
the Vario and the Virtuoso and the several grinders that they have.
We heartily endorse the Barazta Encore. I'm Blake with Prima Coffee thanks for watching.
