Strathclyde if a partner university of IMU,
and I've always wanted to experience studying abroad.

There was this opportunity where I can get
to do a two plus two credit transfer programme,
so I thought, 'Why not,' because I've heard
of Strathclyde being one of the top universities in the UK.
And Scotland has always been famous for its scenery,
and I thought, 'Why not, I might
as well just take up the opportunity.

One of the benefits of studying in a huge university,
is that you have a vast variety of subjects that's being taught.
Different psychology experiments, different types
of researchers, you can specialise in child psychology,
there is physiological, neuropsychology code,
there is a lot of topics to choose from.
That's one of the benefits, you get to pick something you like,
and just, you know, do whatever you like.

It was very overwhelming at first.
After that classes started and it was very exciting.
You get to meet lecturers, you get to meet new friends,
new class mates, and I started to get used to it.
I have friends from France, I have friends from Sweden,
and even during normal conversations you get
to learn a lot of things that you don't get to learn
from text books back home.
I would really encourage people to go out, meet people,
and get out of their comfort zone,
instead of just mixing around, or mingling with the people of,
you know, let's say from Malaysia, why not just go out,
and meet different people.
If you're thinking of looking for something different,
apart from just getting a degree, and just an education,
I think it's a great opportunity to get this kind of exposure
and experience when you're studying abroad.
Especially when you're in Scotland,
the culture is different, obviously, and you have people
from all around the world, so it's more than just a degree,
more than just an education.
I think it's really important
to keep an open mind, and try new things.
