The Lord Jesus gave me a very very graphic revelation,
Of a certain scripture out of the book of Matthew,
That I want to share with you right now... I tried to share this yesterday, but I did
not get a chance. So, I wanted to share it with you today.
It's out of Matthew chapter 7 beginning at verse 13;
Jesus was speaking, He said, "Enter through the narrow gate,
For wide is the gate and broad is the road that leads to destruction,
And many enter through it, but small is the gate and narrow the road,
That leads to life and only a few find it." We've all probably read that Scripture a hundred
times, And heard it many many times...
But what Jesus showed me this weekend as I was driving,
To my other job; I leave around 5:30 in the morning,
And it takes me about 15-20 minutes to get there,
And it's just now starting to get a little bit light outside,
And what I saw over those three days, More than I've ever seen in my life that I
can recall... One after another after another; road kill...
Cats, skunks, possums, squirrels... One after another, after another, after another...
And it's the Holy Spirit that gives us the eyes to see,
And the ears to hear... And I believe it was Sunday morning the Lord
spoke to me, He said this is what happens to those who
remain on the broad road, They become road kill on the broad road that
leads to destruction. And this is what Jesus was showing me and
it grieved my heart. I began to weep on the way to work on Sunday
morning, Because I know that most people are serving
their self, And most people are doing their own thing...
Most people refuse to turn away from their wickedness...
Jesus said later in Matthew 7, Not everyone who says to Me Lord Lord,
Will enter into the Kingdom of Heaven, But only those who do the will of the Father.
So, I ask you today, are you on the broad road that leads to destruction?
Because whether you're on the narrow road or you're on the broad road,
It's appointed for each one of us a day, To stand before the righteous Judge the Lord
Jesus Christ, And He will say to most people go away I never
knew you... So today is the day, today is the day to go
to Jesus. Make sure that you are in right-standing with
Him. If you have sin in your life, if there are
things in your life, That you know that Jesus is not pleased with;
Don't wait until tomorrow - Don't wait it might be too late...
Now is the time to go to Jesus. Now is the time to turn off of the broad road,
And get onto the narrow road in following Jesus,
In righteousness, holiness, and obedience to Him...
He wants to fill you with His Spirit; He wants to live inside of you,
But you must be willing to surrender everything to Him.
May Jesus bless you.
