With this video we are going to illustrate an item that we wrote about for basic security measures...
...that are used in the practice of rafting.
Or any type of mode of river descent in individual or group boats.
We invite you to visit our article in Andinia.
The link can be found in the description of this video.
And there you will see the basics of all that is needed to start rafting.
In these images we see the Atuel river, located in Atuel canyon, in Mendoza and in San Rafael.
Which is a good river for initiation, because it has a difficulty of about 1.5 to 2, on a scale of 0 to 6.
What is the difficulty that exists for rafting in mountain rivers.
As we said, in this case we are taking into account the Atuel river.
A river found in the Mendoza province in Argentina, in the Cuyo región.
This is an ideal river to start rafting, a sort of "school" river.
Of course, this doesn't mean that it isn't a practice of extreme sports, as rafting is at any level.
And for that reason the possibility of falling in the water, and ending up injured always exists if certain basic security measures aren't taken.
If certain equipment isn't used, and if the procedures aren't known, above all what to do when one falls into the water.
Which is what we explain in the article which accompanies this video.
Evidently the security measures that we discussed theoretically in our article...
...in reality aren't enough to [...] know how to execute them in rafting itself.
For that, an instructor is needed to teach us, make us practice, and remove our doubts in reality.
This article is a theoretical approach to this topic that gets close, and can serve us to begin to raft.
But it doesn't go beyond giving us an idea that we need to complement with a real life course.
At the same time, by relating to security regulations, we get some basic notions of how to make a basic, efficient paddle.
How to row in an efficient way, with the basic technique that has to be known to row forward and backwards.
We hope that this is useful, and we await your comments and feelings about this new video.
