Hi, this is a quick audio comparison
with the GH2, using the Sennheiser MKE
400, the Sennheiser set on low volume. Just to make some variations with this
comparison, we now have the Sennheiser set on low volume
and the camera is ninety degrees the the waterfalls
so the shotgun is point straight at me just to give you an idea
what this sounds like. So as you can tell I'm in an
outdoor setting. We now have the Sennheiser set to high volume.
All we have is a slight breeze and
you can hear the water in the background from the waterfalls. I'm not sure if can hear but there's
an airplane flying above head.
Once again, the waterfall is ninety degrees and talking straight at the shotgun,
mounted onto the hot-shoe and there's a slight breeze coming through the leaves.
Okay, now we just have the built-in mic on the GH2,
waterfalls are at the back of me. So you can kinda hear the difference
whether it's worth getting an external microphone and slapping it on top
or if the built-in-mic is just fine for this kind of usage.
I'm gonna just walk in one shot, now, the waterfall is ninety-degrees.
The breeze hasn't kicked up and there is no plane but once again, this is the
built-in-mic, on the GH2. Just
to give a comparison.
Thanks for watching!
