Female: I think you've got to start with your attitude and your mindset
about it, and making sure that your health and wellness comes
first, which I see a lot of entrepreneurs failing at. I think
you've got to have . . . I don't want to use the word 'balance'
because I think it can be a little cliche, that whole work/life
balance. I like work/life integration; it's so woven together.
That's the way you can best serve people that you work with,
your customers.
I also think young entrepreneurs, they need the right support
system, but that support system should be a very diverse group
of people. In the startup world for example, they'll have
mentors. I find that a lot of the mentors are the same. You need
to find a variety of people who can work with you and give you a
lot of different perspectives. Always remember that you get all
those perspectives, but you still need to make the final
decision and you need to trust your gut. You always say, "That
was the right decision." You can't second-guess it; you have to
say, "I made the right decision," and move forward from there.
