Hi my name is Keith Carleton I'm the international director
of new business development for Focus Brands International
we represent 6 brands: Caramel Ice Cream,
Moe's Southwest Grill, Cinnabon, Auntie Anne's Pretzels,
Schlotzsky's Deli, and McAlister's Deli. I am hear in Madrid today
and was in Barcelona yesterday to promote
three of the brand's. So we talked about Cinnabon
the cinnamon rolls world-famous also
our Moe's Southwest Grill tex-mex
burritos in a fast-casual format and also
Auntie Anne's Pretzels which is the world's most famous
soft pretzel. In Spain we're looking for
master franchises or territory developers but nonetheless
investors orgroups or individuals were looking for
development rights for all of Spain. We did this in collaboration with the US
commercial services
and an international law firm Baker & McKenzie
and so far the response has been very good we're looking forward to you
a lot more contacts in the future thank you.
Hi, my name is Ray Hays from EGS, Edwards Global Services
I'm gonna talk about a few new brands the we're looking to bring in to Spain
First of all, let's talk a little bit about the Tilted Kilt.
The Tilted Kilt is a fun concept. It is
a sports bar that has
up to thirty or forty screens throughout
this pretty massive pub
It is a very fast-growing concept in the United States
and Canada and it is starting to go global right now
Let me tell one other
brand: Fuddruckers. Fuddruckers is
the established player in
gourmet hamburgers. Their tagline is the world's greatest burger and I can say I
have one and they're
pretty much right on. You always get very very fresh food
they're located throughout the United States and a few other countries
and they are looking to capitalize on
the burger market here in Spain. Finally I'd like to go over
one of my favorites places to take my kids which
is a place called Build-A-Bear. Build-A-Bear
is actually a store
and a factory of teddy bears
and other stuffed animals. It's a wonderful process the kids come out very
very happy
and it is well-established
and has great brand recognition in the United States
and in other parts of the world about to
10 countries and the
next step for them is to look at
expansion in Spain and other European markets
so those are the three that we are currently
looking at bringing to Spain. We represent
11 brands in total and
if you have any questions we'd love for you just to contact the US Commercial Service
here in Madrid and they can
arrange a meeting for us to discuss
the opportunity and qualifications
thanks for your time
