BNI Poland Grow Your Business Through Referrals
Lately there has been a lot going on in Krakow
We have two new chapters: BNI Vikings and BNI United.
What's next?
Having about 300 associates in Krakow, our main
goal for the future is to focus on training.
We will be improving our impression management,
recommendation and business relationship building skills.
We organise these meetings exactly to tell our friends and
business partners, how they can help us growing our business.
And, of course, later we sit and listen to other members
talking about how we can help them.
Lately I've been meeting many entrepreneurs and
carrying out trainings for many companies and I have noticed that some
of them had lifted their sales volume ten times through refferals.
More and more companies approach BNI to increase their sales volume.
The sales model has changed now. Cold calling, surprise visits
- that's not working anymore.
It's hard to win a tender too, and that's the reason
companies grope for alternative methods of acquiring customers.
One of them is networking.
The biggest business refferal chapter in Poland, BNI Kings
with 60 members, only in past 9 months
has generated refferals worth 6 million zloty.
BNI gives me an opportunity
to grow my own business, get new customers and develop my skills.
By dint of the organisation, I meet people
who have been running their business for dozen years or so
and that helps me shorten my way to success.
BNI has a membership of 158 000 active entrepreneurs in 55 countries.
BNI members generated refferals worth 5,1 billion €.
BNI Poland has 450 member companies that in 2013
earned 18 million złoty through refferals.
BNI doesn't work.
You have to work. It depends on you
if you jump at the opportunity that BNI gives you:
trainings, workshops, business meetings.

As a person running several firms,
what tips could you give to Polish businesspeople?
First of all I would advise them to create
a professional development strategy for their business based on
networking, refferals and winning new clients.
It's essential to have a plan.
Secondly, they should execute this plan on a daily basis.
And, thirdly, I would strongly recommend them to visit BNI chapter in their city.
