Steve: Hi, it’s Steve from PartSelect; today we are going to show you how to change the
Rubber Foot on your dryer, it’s a really easy job, all we are going to need is a flat
blade screw driver, and maybe an adjustable wrench, let me show you how we do it.
Now to do this repair, if you are just replacing one of the front rubber feet, it’s a matter
of pulling the dryer far enough forward that you can tilt it back, and block up the front
of it, to give you access to the front legs, if it’s the rear you would do just the reverse
to it, you maybe to pull it out a little bit further, tilt the back end up, and block it
for security, and then remove the foot.
This one will show you how to change one of the front ones, pull it forward, tilt it up,
you should rest it on a couple of 2/4 blocks, then with the flat blade screw driver, locate
the edge of that rubber foot, and pry it off, of the leveling leg, discard it, we want to
take our new one, wrap it around the leveling leg and snap it into place, once you have
installed the new rubber foot, you may find that the dryer doesn’t sit level anymore
and you may need to adjust that particular leveling leg and make sure to tighten the
lock nut with an adjustable wrench, so that it doesn’t come loose, and our repair is
complete.
I told you it was an easy job. Thanks for watching, and good luck with your repair.
