Take a look at this behemoth of a projector.
This thing is a monster and it will definitely make you
the coolest guy on your block.
I guarantee you none of your neighbours have
a projector as awesome as the Viewsonic Pro8100.
This thing is absolutely huge but it's also going to give you
a giant picture and give you really, really high quality video.
It's got a 1000 Lumens brightness on the lamp inside here.
So you're going to be able to blow this up
to pretty big sizes. Now, 1000 Lumens, not the brightest
on the block really but it's still really bright
and really going to be good enough to get the job done.
It's got 13,000:1 Contrast ratio. So you're going to get
extraordinary color vibrancy and picture quality
from this particular projector. You're going to get
screen sizes between 40" and 300". 300" is what they
max this thing out at. Now, obviously with a 1000 Lumens
you're going to have to be in a pretty dark situation
to be able to get 300" out of it, but just imagine
a 100", or 150", and even if you're going
half- way, you're still getting
a gigantic image, and that image is going to be
full high definition. This thing does 720p,
does 1080i and it does 1080 p at 60 field per second.
So, you're going to be able to get absolute
full high definition out of this. You can hook up
your Blu ray player, or hook up your PC
to this thing and play full 1080p video.
The native resolution is 1920 by 1080.
So, you can use it a lot along with a computer
if you want. So, imagine playing video games
at 150" while you are out playing video games
against the wall of your house or something.
You can hook your PC up and you're going to get
1920 by 1080 resolution out of this thing.
The lamp is 160W and rated at 2000 hours.
You can get a whole lot of viewing time
before the lamp on this particular model
has to be replaced. So let me go ahead and show you
around this thing. First of all as you notice,
it's huge. I mean, literally it's gigantic, this thing.
It's a huge projector but it needs to be that big
because if it wasn't that big you wouldn't think
it was awesome. I mean, sometimes bigger things
just seem awesomemer. And this projector
is definitely one of them. Across the front
you can see a very clean front, not a whole lot
going on right here. But all the actions
really are on the sides and on the back.
Let me show you what's going on at the back.
This is where all of your connectivity options
are going to be found. And if we take a look
back here, you're going to see a lot of different ways
to hook this thing up. You do have RS-232 serial control
for hooking up into devices that will be able
to control this device, as well as USB port
which is used for servicing options.
You also have power triggers back here which are used
in permanent installation sort of situations.
Over here you have two HDMI Ports
where you can plug in your Blu Ray player
and your PC, or your Blu Ray player
and your Xbox 360, or your PS3
to this thing if you so desire.
It does have a D sub VGA connecter as well
and two separate component inputs as well as
S- Video and composite on the back.
Also on the back you can find your
IR Receiver and there is also an IR Receiver on the front
as well so you're going to use their included remote
from the front or the back. And on the side
is where you're going to find your integrated controls.
This is where we're going to find
all the same controls that you're going to find
on the remote itself including your source options,
your ability to shift the lens, the zoom
and focus for setting up your picture on various screens
and from different distances, that's all right there.
And I'm going to show you he remote too while we're at it.
All, basically the same options that you're going to find
on the side are right here, including the various picture modes.
You can set up your color temperature,
black levels, your input sources, overscan.
They can all be taken care of right here.
And the system does have a Daylight sensor
so it is actually going to auto- compensate brightness
depending on the lighting situation that its in.
So, if it's in a really more lit room,
it's going to compensate it by making the lamp
as hot as possible. Of course, when you are
in a darker room, it's going to be a little bit dim
that will be a little to be able to conserve power,
conserve bulbs, and give you actually
a better less- washed out looking picture.
So these are available right now and they have
actually, they have been on the market
for a little while but they've recently come down
in price and now they are actually, I don't want
to say super affordable, but they are in the neighbourhood.
They're actually... The price is really reasonable
for when you think about being able to get
up to 300" of 1080p video. It's definitely
a lot cheaper than a 300" 1080p LCD by far.
Way cheaper than that. So, check it out,
it's the Viewsonic Pro1800, full HD, 1080p Projector
and it's right here. And it could be showing
high definition movies on the side of your house
by next week if you go ahead and order one.
