Hi this is Julie with Beadaholique.com and today I want to show you how to make
the La Fayette
ring set. This is a set of three rings. This is what they look like when they're
all finished
and this is an exclusive Beadaholique.com jewelry kit when you're going to get
everything you need to make these three rings
in one kit. So those are the finished pieces
and here are the ingredients that you are going to get in the kit . You'll get a little tube
of E6300 glue. It's an industrial strength glue its very strong
there's more than enough to make this kit. You're going to get
three ring findings and all three of them are adjustable
the two of them here that you get one in a silver and one in an
antique brass color, you can see right here this is how they adjust
you can make them larger or smaller and both of them
adjust in that manner and then for the third ring finding it has this pretty
scalloped edge
and it adjust right here in the back. So you don't have to worry so much about what
your ring size is with these because they will all adjust
You'll also get 3 very pretty focals
you have a leucite cameo here with an anchor
its flat on the back and then you have a pretty green turquoise glass cameo
and then you have this one which has a to masked pattern to it
and it is glass as well. Your lucite cameo
and you two glass cabochons measure 18 millimeters
by 25 millimeters. The funnest part of this kit
is all three focals fit into all three of the ring findings
so you can just play around to begin with. See which one you want to go where
and I'm gonna follow the same that I have here
in there example so I'm going to go ahead and take my anchor
put it into my antique brass one. To do so
take your glue, put a little dab. You can either put
a dab in the well right here, press it into place
you want it to dry in a upright position, a bunch of different ways of doing that
you can do
a carton, you can do it between boxes, you can also
take a tool perhaps that you have on your beading table
and just set it up like so. Now I can also put the glue right
on the back of a cameo or the cabochon
you don't need a lot a glue, it's very strong. Press that into place
prop it up against something else so you see you have lots of choices here
there go
and then the final one
fit that in
I would recommend letting these dry overnight before you wear them
so there you go you've made the Lafayette ring set
it only took a couple minutes to make and you have three fabulous rings to either
keep for yourself
or give as gifts.
