False eyelashes add an instant 'wow' factor to your eye make up land are great for a bit
of extra confidence on a special occasion. And it may look daunting, but trust me you
can get luscious lashes in just five simple steps.
If you start by finishing your make up with everything except for eyeliner and mascara,
then we're going to go in and just fill in the upper eyelid with a liquid liner -- this
will hide the false lash band.
Ok, so now you're ready for the false lashes -- you need to trim them to your eye shape.
Or if you just want a really subtle, eye opening effect you can even just cut them in half
and apply them to the outer corners only.
Holding your lashes with tweezers, apply the lash glue in a thin layer across the lash
band. Wait about 60 seconds until the glue is tacky.
Close your eye and gently place the lashes as close to the natural lashline as you can.
Use your fingers to dab in place and repeat on the other side.
Next, go back in with your liquid eyeliner, just to make sure you've got a really neat
line, then a couple of coats of mascara will help to blend your natural lashes with the
false lashes. So there you are, just five simple steps to
applying false eyelashes -- and these are really long and full but there are loads of
eyelashes available at Boots, so you're sure to find the perfect pair that matches your
unique style -- whether that's just a subtle flutter or you want vampy volume, why not
add a bit of oomph to your party look?
