Hi, this is Cable on behalf of Expert Village. In this clip I'm going to talk about some
character designs considerations that you should think about before you start to work
on your first walk cycle. Because animation is all about drawing the same thing over and
over and over you don't want to give yourself to much overwhelming work. It's possible but
for this example let's keep it simple. For this example we're working with a really basic
human character and for your first walk cycles I suggest creating a two legged human character.
So notice that he's really simple he has a head, torso, two arms, two legs and even shoes.
This is detailed as were getting because over the next anywhere from 15-30 sheets of paper
we're going to have to redraw each line of each page. So you can imagine if you had a
lot of texture in the legs a lot of details in the face a lot of texture in the shirt
and rings and fingers this is all good. For this example let's keep it simple so consider
how much work you're going to have cut out for you before you start to animate and think
about that when you design your character.
