Hi everybody, this is Dave Kemp with Oaktree Products and today i'm going to teach you how to put a super seal
on a behind-the-ear hearing aid.
Now, super seals are latex covers that protect the hearing aid and it's batteries
from moisture and perspiration not only in the summer, but year round in activities like
exercise and physical labor or anything that you sweat in, and as seen here - it comes in a number
of different colors and ranges in sizes from mini - to standard - to large
and now in the beige and neutral colors, it's available in the micro-size for the smallest BTEs.
So to install the super seal, we need our three-prong tool
our hearing aid
and the correct size super seal.
So, we're gonna start by taking our tool
and our seal, face the seal upwards
so it's making a sort of, "U-shape"
slide it onto the prongs
squeeze it to open it up
take the hearing aid
slide it upward as well - down into the seal
release
and gently remove the tool
from the seal, like so
and remember that the seal can stay on the hearing aid at all times except when you need to put the hearing aid
in the dehumidifier
or you need to change it's batteries, but other than that, there's a little
Quick Flick to demonstrate how to apply a super seal to a hearing aid
Thanks for watching!
