-So you guys know everything there is to know about this game? -We do.

-What's the background story for Future Soldier? -Well basically it's a shadow war.
First when you start the game the Ghosts are fighting an invisible enemy.
We don't really know who they are fighting, they're fighting mercenaries that kind of stuff.
And in fact they will uncover
a weapons arm smuggling ring all across the world That will take them from
Bolivia to Africa in Zambia, in Nigeria then to Pakistan. And the more they will uncover stuff
the more that will turn into a global conflict.
So you're killing people all over the planet?
-Yeah, basically. -Invisibly, at a lot of times
-Invisibly with a big boom.
-With a big what? -With a big ***!
-With a big ***… -Boom!
-OK, I thought there might be two Bs in that word.
On my Mark Three, Two, One...
You think the fans of the original Ghost Recon will enjoy GRFS?
They will, absolutely. One of the things that we focused on was
obviously it's a Ghost Recon game so combats come first. You're gonna have great combats.
Teamwork is a huge part of the whole game loop.
With GRFS we think that's gonna play right into what the classic GR fans have been missing.
-What kind of classes are in the multiplayer?
-In the multiplayer we have an engineer role,
we have a rifleman role,
and we have a scout role.
The engineer role allows you to have access to different types of intel collecting devices.
The rifleman: lot of guns,
lot of exploding things. And then with the scout,
it's more about game of stealth kill.
So you have your sniper rifle accessibility and your small machine gun.
-So you're gonna stay on the ground from a distance and just kill everybody.
-If you got that kind of skill, yes.
I don’t have the guts! But I think I feel more comfortable because you're far away from everybody else.

How do you gather Intel in Multiplayer?
We have over thirteen different ways to collect Intel in the game.
-That's an unlucky number of ways. -Well we have over thirteen!
-Oh OK, so it's safe!
One of the most exciting ways that we have Is this extremely visceral experience.
We have these non-lethal takedowns: if I pull up my stun gun,
I can get into position to sneak up behind you,
stun your character, take him to the ground,
I can hack into his system and I can steal the intel. Then I automatically share that to my team.
You didn't see it but he actually acted like he stunned me a little bit ago.
And I kinda felt it. I'm ticklish!
OK is that masculine to be tickled? I just got tickled.
They mentioned how there was a ton of customizations.
- How many are there? - I think there are more than 20 millions.
20 millions?
52 guns,
49 different attachments, 10 attachments by weapon, make the count.
Add modification, done: 20 millions.
You announced the beta a while back, do you know when that's actually gonna happen?
So the beta and the game are gonna come out in the first quarter of 2012.
But I can get an early copy like, next week?
Probably not.
