This is Lee Grannis, coordinator at Greater New Haven Clean Cities coalition. I'm standing
here at Metro Taxi in West Haven, Connecticut, which has been in operation as a CNG taxicab
company for about a year and a half, with MV1s and transit connect cabs.
They also fuel a fleet of AT&T vehicles from this location and a couple of trash trucks
from the city of Shelton, Connecticut. They actually dispense cabs in Chicago, Philadelphia,
cabs in New York City, and are in process of doing the same in some other cities.
This project is one of them where we've decided to put in auxiliary generators, which run
on natural gas also, because of numerous storms, to include Hurricane Sandy and a very large
snowstorm we had this last year.
