Hey, I'm Ann Myrick and today I'm going to show you how to clean a tea kettle. We're
going to work with the inside and the outside. First on the inside, a lot of times after
using a tea kettle it will get kind of pieces in it like build up where you need to clean
it out. And the best thing to do is put some vinegar and water in it and boil it. And then
wash it out so you have a clean inside. And then on the outside you'll see where there's
just some burned areas and some cooked on areas. So I am going to use a little bit of
baking soda and put it on my sponge. With a little water. And I'm just going to start
scrubbing it. And on some of these areas, like the brown areas that won't come off,
sometimes you need to just put the baking powder on the pot, and just let it sit there
for a little bit. And then come back and scrub it really well. And then you rinse with hot
water to be sure that you get all the soda out of the pot. This is Ann Myrick, and that
is how you clean a tea kettle.
