I don’t really do videos like these, but I felt like this was semi necessary for misinformed
people or anyone like that.
I’m going to be Debunking the top 10 strongest super smash bros character by Dobbs.
The first thing I want to do is give huge credit on the editing, it was cool.
Another thing, I know it is you opinion on this, but to state how this would be how it
is…
That just doesn’t work that way.
Obviously there are going to be in your comments to tell you what’s up or people like me,
doing what I’m doing now.
It’s just one of those things.
But, let’s get into this.
At number 10, you have Mewtwo.
Your first reason is because of his stats being near or above those that are extremely
strong in Pokémon.
Mewtwo being along side Pokémon in terms of stats or strength does not connect over
to the powers of said Pokémon.
Scaling in Pokémon is already pretty odd because taking in dex entries, feats of the
respective Pokémon, stats, and levels get difficult to manage after a while.
I’ve had two videos going over this, but what I’ve come to that’s pretty easy to
get around is you get the stats for the Pokémon meaning the actual stats and not just base
stats, scale to other, see where the feats lay and that’s how that would work there.
The problem is that’s on the attack potency of the Pokémon, not about the abilities of
the Pokémon themselves.
Mewtwo being comparable to Dialga, Palkia, or whoever because of stats wouldn’t matter
because a lot of what they do attributes to their power.
Mewtwo doesn’t get time moves because he’s not the god of time, he doesn’t get space
moves because he’s not the god of space, so comparing him in a power aspect wouldn’t
matter because a lot of Mewtwo’s moves are psychic based and a lot lower than what those
other Pokémon are.
Because look at here, say that is how that works and stats equaled power.
In attack, there’s Pokémon like Hitmonlee and Granbull with the same attack as Palkia
and Dialga, does that mean those Pokémon are universal destroys that can control space
and time?
I’m sure you’re connecting the dots here, but yeah, that’s not how that works.
Since we’ve already seen the power of the higher tiered beings in Pokemon, what you
said would work here and I trust Mewtwo’s strength and durability to hold his own here.
He has the attack potency, but I don’t think he’s sending anyone back in time or something
like that.
Well, in terms of Special Attack yes they compare, but if that’s the case you could
include Deoxys and Primal Kyogre.
Deoxys attack actually has better Attack and Speed than Mewtwo Y and I’d probably give
it to it more than Mewtwo in this case because Deoxys is a lot more well rounded.
The thing about the Pokémon mentioned here is that they’re mostly Planet level plus.
Hahaha.
WHAT?
Ok, so you’re not talking about the video game Mewtwo, you’re talking about movie
Mewtwo who has never gone Mega, because that’s a different
Mewtwo also.
Wait, wait, wait, wait.
Alright, let’s just compare.
So, Mewtwo is on the tier with God Pokemon, and Ness is ahead of him because…
Why?
What you said is was potential universal being versus a character who fought a universal
being.
You also mention the abilities of Ness and should take note that he’d cap off on strength
with the strongest monster he can fight by himself.
Why?
Because Giygas, the universal destroyer, was defeated by the team of Ness, Paula, Poo,
and Jeff.
Along with that, you can’t win the fight against Giygas without Paula because her praying
carries it.
The strength doesn’t come from the kids alone, but instead everyone they ever met
in the game.
It’s a humongous thing in Earthbound and extremely difficult to leave out.
Especially with that being a beautiful part of the game, not the fight itself but everything
going into it.
…I don’t really know why that was mentioned.
Last time I checked it was The Legend of Zelda, not The Legend of Earthbound.
Now after this you put Samus, and I already knew how this was going to go because it’s
common thing with Metroid when either composite Samus is disregarded or Mother Brain is made
to be a lot larger than needed.
In a universe where there’s really not much to tag Planet-level or Star-level beings aside
from the two driving forces of the game, it’s not that much of surprise to say that the
universe would be in danger.
It’s like, say that our other planets were like earth and there was an alien stronger
than everyone on each planet and even strong enough to take out a planet one at a time.
That wouldn’t mean that it’s universe level, that’s more basing around the capability
to destruction of the actual universe itself which is extremely large.
Look.
If she’s supposed to be universal to you, I would hope that she would be able to tank
one.
But tanking a nuke supposed to be a universal type thing.
Now tanking a nuke that would take out a planet, that’s cool, she has above planet level
durability to take something like that.
But that’s really it.
Plus I did some digging for Samus because I don’t keep up with her feats, but majority
of her stuff keeps her at planet level or at max star level.
I have yet to see anything based around universal.
Ok, well one, that’s extremely out of her character to just take out a whole planet
cause of one person.
If the planet has well enough life to it and isn’t like what she’s usually going against,
I’m sure she would draw the line.
That’s just off play two or three Metroid games so don’t hold me to it.
I also don’t think that’s a pretty good argument to yourself though.
Because while she could do that, if Ness was universal like you mentioned, then he should
be able to take Samus out before she does that.
Especially since you said that PK Flash is a move where it just takes out anything.
Plus, adding on to that.
If Mewtwo is also a universal being, couldn’t he just blow up the planet anyways?
And since we’re not being specific around what Mewtwo really, we could just use the
Mewtwo that we have in Pokken which has a super of blowing up the world when being all
Shadowed up.
I mean Mewtwo was already strong enough to do that with me messing around and adding
Pokken, but I’m sure you know what I’m getting at.
Was it really?
Like really, was it really that tough of a decision?
Sonic is pretty fast, and speed is power.
He’s also beaten a reasonable amount of major threats to his universe, and it wasn’t
a case like Metroid.
Yeah, ok let me tell you this.
Unlimited doesn’t matter if there’s nothing to base it off.
Unlimited doesn’t mean continuously going further up and getting stronger, unlimited
means you won’t see it stopping anytime soon.
Unlimited speed could mean you never run out of stamina while going as fast as you can,
which means that it would be capping around what you’re capable of.
He could be running forever at 100 billion times the speed of light, but his speed being
unlimited doesn’t imply he’s going any faster than that.
And that number is just for the example.
Plus, I understand how this is a common thing that’s brought up, and even I had issue
with this before, but Hyper Sonic is an extremely questionable form because of the canonicity.
Here’s the thing, in terms of speed you don’t need Hyper Sonic.
Base Sonic has more speed feats than Super and Hyper and is way more reliable than the
two.
I have a video going over Sonic, and while it is old to me, it does it’s job for the
topic at hand.
Ahahaha!
WHAT!
Bro, I need to know if you’re talking about the game, the real world, or whatever you’re
mentioning.
There are many examples of light speed, and you don’t see any of those people going
back in time just because they go light speed.
It obviously works differently when it comes to different franchises, but for the most
part, it’s just the speed that the person.
Look.
It’s easy to say that it doesn’t, but let’s say that it did right.
Being able to go back in time doesn’t mean you have control over all time.
You can’t stop time just because you can go backwards, you can’t rewind all of time
by itself just because you go backward, there’s a lot you can’t just do just because you
can go backwards.
And if we’re talking about this from logical point of view, paradoxes.
That’s a thing.
Though if you’re mentioning Sonic CD where he had to do a little Superman and Flash thing
to where he runs so fast that he goes back in time.
They do that because that’s possible for the universe that they’re in, but that’s
not a thing to be used for the characters when it comes to fights.
Sonic had initiative to go back in time because of his enemy of the game, and that’s how
that worked for the game.
If you’re trying to do Sonic Vs. Mario or something like that for a fight,
Sonic isn’t just going to run back in time to destroy Mario when he was a baby or something
like that, because well one that’s not how fights works, and two he most likely wouldn’t
be doing that because it’s out of that character.
Alright, if you have the ability to move at the speed of light, how is 10 minutes bad.
Do you know how fast that is.
Plus, if you were to do a fight involving Hyper Sonic, I would it would be someone that
can contest the speed, and even then I doubt the hypothetical fight would take more than
10 minutes.
That’s not how that works.
That’s not how that works at all.
Remember you said that he’s invulnerable in these 10 minutes, that’s a pretty big
thing.
The comparison to Dragon Ball is something completely
different and I’m not sure what you’re trying to connect here.
Because adding kaioken isn’t like it’s the next step in evolution, but that’s just
something completely different.
GANONDORF OVER SONIC??
In both inside and outside of smash, Sonic beats Ganondorf.
You mention that he holds the triforce of power, so it means that it’s not a hypothetical
to where it’s Ganon with the whole triforce, and I know for a certain that Ganondorf with
just the triforce of power alone has a chance against Sonic.
That’s just wild.
Just because it’s said that you can only defeat Ganondorf with light weapons doesn’t
mean he can’t get beat.
This is purely an in-game thing, and if you apply this into other universe where you have
to have Ganondorf and another character duke it out, that weakness to light weapons doesn’t
matter.
You’re telling me that if I put Goku up against Ganondorf then he would be
fine because Goku doesn’t have any light weapons?
Yeah coming back every 100 years doesn’t really matter when it comes to a list on strength
because if the characters can whoop him every time he comes back, that doesn’t really
matter now does it.
And it’s not like he has some form of zenkai to where he becomes stronger by each iteration
of him.
The next character you have here is Palutena, and this is just a little thing before we
get into this because I know this is a common thing with people.
With her being a goddess, it’s assumed that she’s just as busted.
That’s a common thing because the gods of certain verses of characters have a gap in
strength between them and the regular people, but the thing is there’s many verses to
where there regular characters that would be able to contest with the gods of these
other verses.
Alright, I’m just going to have a bit of input here.
If she could get controlled by something that shouldn’t be nowhere near her strength,
then how would she work on characters that
are above her.
Adding on to the whole immortal thing, there are many levels of immortality, and with how
the Kid Icarus lore works, Palutena is mortal from a fighting standpoint when it comes to
these character fights and rankings.
Any of the abilities mentioned here, she can’t just do that to anyone.
I don’t even need to mention that here because it’s not like these powers worked against
Hades.
Plus that death manipulation thing works well for little in game enemies, I’d love to
see an attempt on trying to insta-kill or trasmutate Hades.
Mystery to her power is just lack of feats at this point.
If we don’t have anything else to prove on the character, then as far as we know and
can scale, she stands where she stands.
And I can’t just use “the absence of evidence is not the evidence of absence” here because
at that point that would just be ignorant.
I’m just going to say this here but the Shulk we have in the game is not the end game
Shulk we have in Xenoblade.
Two different swords, two different times.
And if we’re fighting Shulk we have in Smash he gets blitzed by a lot of the characters
on the roster, because he isn’t that strong to begin with.
God Shulk is strong, that’s true.
One thing since you mentioned Gigatons and showed the math for it.
Get the weight of a fist and move it at 100 billion times the speed of light, that’s
Sonic.
Now on Bayonetta, she didn’t beat Jubileus at 100% which was something you need to mention
when talking about that fight.
Along with that she did it with help.
I don’t want to get into exactly how strong Bayonetta is, but from the very minimal amount
I’ve seen for her, she’s not universal.
Which would put her lower than a good amount of the characters on the roster and or the
characters you mentioned here.
You also mentioned that Shulk is a literal god, and he had the ability to creating or
recreating a universe, if that’s the case, he’s more credible than Bayonetta here.
I’m sure that you don’t really know that much about other stuff like this, but a spoiler
alert to fiction, being a god or goddess doesn’t making you this untouchable being, there are
a lot of characters out there.
Ok, you had to have thought about it about on why that’s pretty ridiculous.
Having one feat and having that be a feat of creation and not more so an attack by any
means, it had to have been weary.
Escaping a Black hole and creating a universe put her here, and you said that Shulk could’ve
been here if he stayed as God Shulk the whole time.
If that’s the case then what was the point of mentioning God Shulk.
If he’s not going to be here the whole time for the list then you can’t have him at
all, you can’t just go half and half on this.
It’s either he wins it all or he’s not on the list.
Creating a universe doesn’t instantly make you strong, along with that Rosalina has never
fought so there’s no feats to base it off.
Two, she isn’t even really a goddess.
She has human parents and that’s up for speculation, but she’s most likely the daughter
of an alternate universe Mario, luigi, or somebody.
Not a goddess.
Third, if we’re talking about characters with feats, and just raw science to back it
up, Rosalina is not even top 5 strongest characters in the Mario Bros franchise.
One, Kirby’s like 3 centimeters tall so I hope you factor that in.
Two, I’m just going to have you connect the dots here.
Now obviously, Kirby needs to win because it’s his game.
But here you say that Magolar has an infinite amount of magic.
If Magolar is able to get beat when he has an infinite amount of magic, then what would
that say for Kirby.
Plus, infinite means nothing if we don’t have regular feats to back it up.
If Kirby was to have unlimited power, he still would have a cap on how strong he is by himself
and his abilities until it’s shown that there isn’t one.
It’s ridiculous to say that Kirby is just this little unlimited adorable ball because
that’s just a no limits fallacy at that point.
Kirby isn’t an omni-king, he’s just not.
Now I’ve been working on my own stuff on figuring out how strong Kirby is and I love
the energy being put in for this character, but to state that he’s just this definitive
strongest character, that’s crazy.
Also, he doesn’t just summon that star rod.
The gameplay is Nightmare in Dreamland and I would hope that you had played it to know
that what you said isn’t the case at all.
I don’t’ have anymore to say on this, I’ve covered all that I needed, and I don’t
want to do any more extra stuff because there’s no real need.
Again, kudos on the editing of it.
I know that I’ll have people talking about some “Oh if you’re so smart why don’t
you do a video on it or talk about how strong characters are”, the thing is I will, and
I’ve done that.
I’m revamping for this channel because this is where I want this type of stuff so if you
do hold interest in it, I’ll be talking about that here.
For my subs, don’t be expecting too much stuff like this on this or the main channel,
I’ll be getting back to normal after this video most likely.
Thank you all for watching, if you have any extra points just leave that in the comments.
You can hit me up on my media, and Dobbs if you do want to talk about stuff like this,
I’m probably available.
I don’t know.
Maybe I’ll see you all in the next one.
Until then, peace out and god speed.
