Well I think as State of the States go, I thought the delivery and the content
was very well presented.
I think he did a nice job delivering and I was very encouraged by what I heard.
What I am concerned about is when he talks about making
jobs job one for the state of Indiana for the legislature.
When he talks about the school, expanding the school issues and more funding for the
schools
when he talked about helping the veterans and
and when he talks about economic development,
we're all on board there.
But the problem is
we didn't hear how we're going to get there
and I think we're going to support the governor when we think he needs to be
supported.
The issues we heard about, we're all concerned about, we've been bringing these forward for years
and now that he's brought them forward, we're going to be there to assist him and
encourage him in those ways.
But again, we're all concerned with, how are going to achieve that, with the finances?
The 10 dollar, or excuse me,
the 10 percent
cut on the income taxes really sounds like a great program
and I know people are going to be behind it
but along with that come the consequences, how are we going to make up that
funding
what about the services that are going to go along with
a 10 percent cut in
income tax, so
these are all things that we have as questions right now because they were'nt
answered tonight.
