Today we are going to make sweet biscuits using wheat flour.
These biscuits are very tasty and nutritious.
So come, let’s prepare the sweet biscuits using flour.
Wheat flour (Gehun atta) - 1 cup or 500 gram
Butter - ½ cup or 100 gram (Cut into tiny pieces)
Khand - ½ cup or 70 grams
Milk - ¼ cup
Baking powder - 1 tsp
Green cardamom (Chhoti elaichi) - 4 to 5
To make sweet biscuit, the first thing needs to be done is to prepare the dough.
Put wheat flour in a big bowl.
Cut the butter into tiny pieces and add it to the wheat flour.
Mash it a little this way using your hands.
Make sure you take cold butter.
Do not melt it.
Crumble the butter this way and mix it in the flour.
We have taken salted butter, you can even take unsalted butter, but add 1 pinch salt.
Once the flour and butter are mixed thoroughly, add khand to it.
You can also take powdered sugar or gur khand.
Now add baking powder as well and mix it well.
You can increase the quantity of sugar as per our choice.
Everything is mixed properly, now add milk to knead the dough.
Take cold milk.
Our dough for biscuit is now ready.
We have used 3 tbsp milk to knead this much dough.
Peel the cardamom and make a powder.
Add the cardamom powder to the bowl.
Knead it a little with your fingers to make it soft.
Our mixture for the biscuit is now ready.
Preheat the oven to 180 degrees.
Take a tray and apply oil on it to make it smooth.
You can apply butter or oil.
Spread a little dry flour on the rolling board.
Roll it out using a rolling pin. It should be a little thick approximately ¼ cm.
Now let’s cut it into the shape of a biscuit.
You can take the cap of a bottle or any mold to give a shape to the biscuits.
Cut it this way.
Place it on the baking tray.
Place the biscuits at a distance from one another.
Make biscuits from the remaining dough as well.
Our oven is preheated.
Once the biscuits are ready, we'll place the baking tray on a wired stand.
Set the microwave on convection mode.
Set the oven at 170 degrees for 10 minutes.
Take the biscuits out after 10 minutes and check.
10 minutes are over, so now let's check the biscuits.
The biscuits are quite fluffy but they still appear white, so let us bake for some more time.
Bake them for another 6 minutes and check.
They should be brown from the top.
Let us check the bscuits.
The biscuits now appear a little brown from the top.
Our biscuits are now ready.
Put the biscuits on the rack and let them get frigid.
Once the biscuits are cool, take them out in a plate.
Sweet wheat flour biscuits are now ready.
These biscuits are very tasty.
It will take around 24 minutes to bake the biscuits.
In fact this will take different time in different ovens depending on the temperature.
