Let's take a look at the steps we need to do to publish our finished presenter file.
We've added our audio, notes and any interaction and we're ready to publish this file. Let's take a look
at what we need to do next. I'll go to publish
and I have an option of saving everything as a zip file. This is the option I
want to choose. The reason for this is, I want to be able
upload one single into the content collection where Blackboard will unpackage
If I publish this without compressing it to one file
what I'll get is a whole folder full of information, just like an entire website
including my starting page or index page.
So going to publish, make sure to save it as a zip file.
and save to it your desktop where you can easily find it.
I've done this already and here's my file ready to upload to Blackboard.
I've created a folder for this class, and inside of here I'm going to put my presentations.
So I'll create another folder and I'll make sure the permissions are set properly.
Now I'm ready to upload my file. I'll create a folder for this week 1 presenation.
Now I just need to upload my file.
In this case I will select upload package because it is a zipped package or zipped file.
Blackboard automatically takes this packaged or zipped file and unpackages all these files for me. The index
page is my starting page. This is where I'll want to link to.
To get that link I"ll select 360 view.
I'll grab the permanent URL.
and copy this.
I'll go back to my Blackboard course
and go to the content area that I want to put my presentation in.
My presentation, with all the interactivity is now available for my students to see.
