Many Koreans have started making their ways back to their hometowns,... for the Lunar
New Year holiday. Passengers are already beginning to crowd
train stations and bus terminals,... one day before the four-day holiday weekend begins.
Transportation officials expect over 27 million people to travel around the country this Lunar
New Year. Traffic on major highways has already begun
to back up at this hour. The congestion is expected to reach its peak
tomorrow... when more than 40 percent of total holiday travelers will depart for their destinations.
While most Koreans will stay in the country for the holiday weekend, about 270-thousand
people are expected to travel to destinations overseas.
