>> Medical field is where I feel like I'm supposed to be.
It teaches you how to pay attention to detail.
It teaches you how to look professional
and to carry yourself in an appropriate manner;
it's knowing how to deal with people
that are completely hysterical
because of whatever the situation.
You need to know how to organize the situation and bring it
from chaos to organized so that people can actually receive the
help that they need and if you can't relate to your patient,
you can't accurately be their advocate,
and you can't accurately explain
to the emergency personnel what could be wrong with them.
It's made me be more prepared.
You can't always know every scenario
that you're gonna walk into.
The teachers here at Allan Hancock College are remarkable.
All of the tack officers that we have here are knowledgeable
in what they do but they also know how to get you to learn it.
He really personalizes it, really makes it something
that you can grasp onto
and remember the stories therefore remember the content.
It's been an incredible experience.
I really do enjoy it a lot.
