Sale & Pepe are 2 geniuses! not very unappreciated, just geniuses
I fall in love with their parody of Lana Del Rey's Videogames
so when today I decided to draw something, I choose Lana --their fault
I-- I donno. maybe this is supposed to be a tutorial..
well. I used a pretty rough watercolor paper as you can see.. 300gr I think
I made the drawing with my lovely-super-cool 2B pencil -- I own it since.. boh, a century!
then I inked it with a a pen that my ex-boyfriend bought me in Helsinki, years ago..
it's a miracle it still works ♥ I adore it cause it's waterproof. and cause it's Finnish..
even if it's made in China. or Japan. don't remeber. still.
and then I-- I hit the microphone
and I tested again the waterbrush Daniela (miss creamy creamy) gave me last month..
it's.. DAAAH! :Q the most cool thing in the world!
it's ***!
cause you can simply take the color from your palette..
those horrible watercolors old and dirty -think there could be even insects there-
never thought to wash them. or the palette.
they're cool too. by Winsor and Newton-
I get them after someone losed them at school probably.
I used.. well for the skin I used beige, red, and the warm brown
and then. well I mixed a lot of colors.. randomly as usual..
for the shadows I used red and blue, as you can see in the neck's shadows..
aaand.. the wonder of the light's change. it's fantastic cause it's already dark..
seen I live in Padua, where's dark at 4 pm
nothing. it's pretty simple: I use water (or well, the serbatory of my waterbrush)
and in order to color I start with the zone I should make dark, but with a very liquid color. it helps me organizing the spaces..
disgusting things on the paper- wonderful
and then slowly I emphasize the shadows.
to make the black I use blue and brown together, and a lot of passages of color anyway
and often I use the color almost dry for the blacks
even for the hair I started with a light flat color, adding darker strokes in a second moment
trying to highlight the locks..
that stuff. so basically it's matter of patience. I really enjoy it..
I love coloring with watercolors. expecially with this brush..
it's like the perfect eternal brush ♥
basically-- LOVE
to make the shadow you0ve just to pass by again in the same points
paying attention to do not pass when the color is still wet, if you don't want it to melt and make a mess
this is the final picture, with the awful light
and with my bedroom light
here you can see better the surface.. andi'mfinishingthetime
so.. see you next time and.. BYE!
