- Hi Patricia. - Hi.
- Where are we right now? - Right now, we are just taking a break
from the crazy busy streets of Marrakesh, Morocco.
This morning we visited the marketplace and strolled around
visited some of the National Monuments. Very busy.
That's a nice bag you got there. What is it?
This is Lowepro passport sling and it's great
because, I don't know about you but, anytime
I try to find a bag to travel with. I always come across
either the zipper gets stuck, the handles break, not enough
pockets. Where am I going to put my camera?
So, this bag is perfect.
As you can see, the handle strap even adjusts
quite easily. Now, for myself, I have it
so that it's just perfect. It sits right on my hip as I swing it over
my side. We've got double zipper.
So, typically I'll have them
right in the middle and then, when I'm walking I will rest my hand
right on it. So, no there is room for pickpockets.
Very spacious on the inside. I mean
I travel always with my trusty hat.
An extra bag for shopping.
Don't forget my camera. Eye glasses,
and sunglasses, extra wallet,
travel documents, lens caps, flash
for indoor photos. And then, don't forget the ibuprofen.
Wait. You've got a Leatherman in here which is quite heavy.
I mean it's just never ending.
One of the nice things about this also is that you have two separate
compartments
for your cell phone as well as one here for keys.
So rather than rummaging through your handbag for things,
they're readily available in those pouches. Now this is another thing that's
ideal.
You could use this for everyday use as well if you're so inclined.
The camera pouch does
come out. It's Velcro-ed in.
When you are using it as a camera bag, nice padding on the inside. So, it does protect
your camera
and other gear. It is adjustable even on the inside.
So, you can adjust it to the contours of your camera. There's a nice little
pouch here
for memory cards.
I mean, you're always going to be losing those if you're not careful.
Another thing too is the side pockets.
I mean, you can always... easy access
in this case today I've got my hotel key,
a pen ready for notes,
of course lip balm here in humid climates,
(protect those lips girls when you're traveling)
and of course water. Never travel without water.
Also too, one of the things. It expands
quite easily. You could fit in
a bigger bottle of water even if you wanted to.
It's very lightweight.
I don't think there's any metal in this. So there's no real concerns
and about metal detectors are anything going on at the airport.
And another thing too which is really great,
when you're not using this to hold the excess strap,
you can pick up one of these
Lowepro accessories, This is a Phone case.
The Phone Case 20 in the S&F series.
It just Velcros open and you can quite
easily slip this in here and this becomes
an extra pouch. A friend of mine uses it for a cell phone
but you could use this for
a number of things. An extra lens,
you could use it for money so, you don't have to open your bag every
time
you want to stop at a vendor or, just pick out your bus fare.
Whatever it is. - It looks new. How long have you had it?
- I've had this bag for over two-and-a-half years.
Actually, three years and I will say that
it is my go to travel bag. So, this
Lowepro Passport Sling Two thumbs up from me.
