Hi Internet and welcome back to a new Art Talk.
Today I will talk about photography
and especially my evolution in photography.
I have my computer here
that's why I may not be looking at the camera.
Today no animated background behind me
because I'll show you some stuff here.
Very quick explanation about my relationship with photography:
I have always been interested in photography.
But it's true that more recently,
I would say around 2012
I started to do it more "seriously"
and tell me : why not make it my job.
So we will start in 2009.
Then in 2009 I got my first smartphone
which allowed me to make self-portraits
and other littles artistic experiments
In 2010 my father bought a bridge camera
and thanks to this bridge
I really became interested in photography
more "seriously"
The thing with this bridge
is that we couldn't use the automatic mode.
So you were forced to use manual mode
and I really started learning settings.
Little pictures I took
it was nothing
crazy.
But it was really how I started at this time.
This time when I started to have fun.
It was also at that time that I started to really use Photoshop
when I made photomontages.
I made things ...
... weird ?? (weird things)
I don't know why I did that.
Then we move to 2012.
In 2012 I bought my first SLR
which was a Canon 1100D.
I feel like I'm repeating myself compared to my last video
And I started with the basic lens, the 18-55mm.
Again and again me in my artistic delusions.
If you remember, it was very fashionable
in 2012 to have a shirt like that.
It's cool the 18-55 but you don't have a depth of field
that is really interesting.
At that time I bought a 50mm
and that's where I started to take pictures
a little more interesting.
Photos that are closer to what I'm doing now.
This photo
is so edited.
I edited so much the skin
(just this part, the cheek)
that in the end you can't even see the bridge of the nose.
Another little picture I can show you in 2012
it's this one :
because it is at this time
that my sister started to develop
her passion for Patisserie.
And at the same time I was developing my passion for photography.
And it's really interesting because
you really see how she improved herself
in her cakes
and how I improved myself in photography.
In 2013 I don't really know what happened
because this is a year in which there are pictures
that I find really very good
and next to it there are pictures that
I find ugly?
I don't know what else to say.
With my cousin, we had decided
to organize a kind of photo shoot on the topic
Alice in Wonderland
but that "levitation" effect...
it's just too ugly.
For me 2014 is perhaps the year
during which I really improved myself
and the year when I started
to find a more interesting aesthetic I would say compared to other years.
This photo was a picture that I liked a lot
it was a self-portrait
I had tried to play in the night.
Another small series that I was proud of it
it was a series that I made with my little sister
I was still in that period when I made photomontages with Photoshop.
2014 was also a good time because
it was at that time that with my best friend Eva
we took pictures outside.
Another picture a little bit different
of what I showed you before.
This is again a self-portrait
because I was only doing self-portraits.
When I see this one now I just tell myself:
"Louisa stop"
I'm much too edited.
And that was my problem, I edited too much
the photos, not because I had a problem with this
it was just because I liked to create an ureal
aesthetic.
2015
it is really at this the time when I found my style.
There are some pictures of which I am quite proud.
This is a picture of my little sister I took
not in 2015
but 2014, 2013?
But I made a new editing
that I liked particularly.
And 2016 is the time when I first became interested
into video
Photography wasn't my thing anymore
Besides I sold my camera.
I'm sorry
The video has just cut which means
it's time for me to say goodbye.
Thank you very much for listening to the video.
Thank you to always be more and more here.
Thank you for all your little messages.
Have a great day
and I hope to see you again very soon.
