Welcome to the University of Wisconsin-Superior. My name's Carrina and
I'm going to be your virtual tour guide today,
showing you the ins and outs of campus. Our first stop on the tour,
is Old Main. This is our administrative office building, where you'll find offices such as
registrars,
financial aid and academic advising. The next stop on our tour, is going to be the
Yellowjacket Union.
Let's go check it out!

Welcome to the Yellowjacket Union. One of our newer buildings on campus,
completed in 2010.
This has everything that students will ever need when they're not in classes.
Everything from hangout spots, to pool tables, foosball tables,
even computer labs. If you're not maybe just here to hang out, maybe you're here
to grab a bite to eat.
We have our 'Jacket Java, our Union Cafe and our Brick Oven Grille
right here waiting for you. On the far side, we also have our 'Jacket Book and Supply.
So follow me as we head over there to show you
everything the bookstore has to offer.
Welcome to the 'Jacket Book and Supply
where you'll find everything from UWS apparel, household items,
office supplies, as well as text books which you can buy or rent.

This is Swenson Hall completed in 2011. Where you'll take a majority of your
general education requirements. In this building, we also have a 24 hour
computer lab as well as your academic support services.
We're in the Erlanbach Lecture Hall right now. It holds 190 people,
but the biggest class you'll ever have in this room is 60. When you're not in
a lecture hall setting,
your average classroom size is about 22. Giving you a 14 to 1 student to teacher ratio
throughout our campus.

This is Holden Fine and Applied Arts. Where you'll find classrooms and labs specifically designed
for departments such as communicating arts,
visual arts, music and theatre.
We're here in the middle of campus.
Behind me, we have Barstow Hall. This is our sciences building, where you'll take courses such as
biology and chemistry.
We also have Erlanson Hall, which is our business building.
Where you'll take courses such as accounting, economics and transportation and logistics.
Lets see what's next.

We're in the Jim Dan Hill Library. A great place for students to come and study
when they're on campus.
Either as individuals or in a group setting using one of our group study rooms.

Welcome to the Marcovich Wellness Center. My favorite building on campus.
Where not only our health and wellness courses are offered,
but our recreational activities as well. Behind me, you'll see our fitness center
and our weight room. We also have an indoor track. Lets go check it out!
This is our indoor track and field house. Where we have our rock climbing wall,
our indoor courts and our indoor track. Also in this building, we have our varsity gymnasium,
our six lane lap pool and our dance studios.
Well, our tour is almost done, but first
let's check out the residence halls.

Welcome to CMO. Consistent of Curran-McNeill and Ostrander.
Two of our incoming freshmen resident halls. Let's go take a look at a room!
In order to get into your residence hall, you're going to need a fob.
This fob grants you access to the building and the bathrooms,
so make sure you don't lose it.

This is our preview room on campus. Currently we are in Curran-McNeill one of our
incoming freshmen halls.
Typically this space is shared by two people. Meaning each person will get a bed,
a desk, a bookshelf, a dresser and a closet.
Everything you will need for your stay at UW-Superior. And in the newly renovated
Ross/Hawkes Halls,
you'll find amenities such as kitchens on every floor, laundry on every floor,
private style bathrooms and a large student lounge.
Everything you need to make it your home away from home.
Well, that concludes today's tour.
Thank you so much for joining me and I hope to see you on campus soon.
