Hello everybody.
I'm here to tell you a little bit about the special multimedia Butt Camp DVD set that
we recorded live in Orlando, Florida. When I say we, I mean Mike Stewart, the Internet
Audio and Video Guy, and myself, I’m Tom Anion did a whole day’s session down there
in Florida and the people were just floored with the things that they learned about everything
from super-low budget video to high-end infomercials but they're still on a low budget. So everything
that we do is guerilla fighting to teach you how to use multimedia on your websites and
on DVDs and all the ways you can use this type of material.
Now, I've made some notes here because I'm going to go over all the kinds of things that
are in this DVD set. Of course we recorded the day on video, and I also shot some additional
material to fill in any of the blanks that we missed at the live seminar. That's very
typical that if you're trying to get a product out of shooting a live seminar that there'll
be things that are forgotten. There'll be things that go wrong because of microphones
and lighting and things like that. And so sometimes, it's good to come back in the studio
and shoot additional footage to fill in the blanks that didn't get covered well in the
main seminar. So that's what we're going to do.
Now when you buy the system, it's going to come in two albums like this. This is DVDs
1 to 2 but it also has a special one called 'Watch Me First' which goes right here. By
the way, overall there are 7 hours and 45 minutes in this whole DVD set and it's tightly
edited too. So it's very comprehensive in what you need to do to start using low-budget
video. And while I'm thinking about it, you do need to think about screen capture video
which has made me a fortune and I cover that a little bit later.
But I'm going to go to my notes here so that I don't miss anything for you and give you
a little overview of the types of things you're going to learn. One is you'll learn how to
record audio information products and make them sound really good. We go over the types
of microphones and the simple software you need to have to record it right on a laptop
or on your desktop computer with digital quality sounds as good as you would have if it came
from a recording studio. We also show you how to make audio buttons for your website
so you can just press a button and you start talking. And also music fades in and out perfectly
with some simple pieces of software, and that piece of software is free included with the
set.
We show you how to shoot simple video clips with cheap cameras. You can use the cheapest
camcorder on earth and still get stuff that works well on the web for simple web infomercials
or teaching people how to get around your website and all that, show you how to edit
and all those things. Then we also show you how to get broadcast quality productions on
a super tight budget, where to go, how to make deals with production companies, who
will finance these things for you, those types of things.
And then we also show you how to run simulated talk shows or infomercials on leased access
TV which is a great way to make yourself a celebrity either in your local market or in
markets around the country. Leased access is mandated by the Government to cable systems
to give you cheap access to the airways. And that sounds good on the surface, but there
are some things that the cable companies do to try to screw you up and we're going to
tell you how to defeat those also as we go through the seminar.
You're also going to learn how to create video landing pages. These are free from many services
that offer video hosting now. So video is here to stay and there're plenty of places
online now that will host your video for free and some of them will even sell it for you.
Let's see, we're going to show you how to do basic video editing right on your computer.
Now this course is not a substitute for actually learning individual pieces of software. We
are going to demonstrate the software for you. You will see it right online. You'll
see how easy it is, but then you'll want to get a little tutoring or run through the tutorials
usually included with software to really get the fine tuning of how to do it. And of course
the more you practice, the better you'll get at this.
We show you how to put video on your blog. Blogging and videocasting and podcasting are
becoming more and more prevalent. So we show you how to do that with some simple, very
cheap software. And we show you a lot of equipment especially on the 'Watch Me First' video.
See all these equipment I'm surrounded with? I go over each piece and tell you where to
find it, how to do it, all about cameras, lighting, here are all the kinds of lights
we use and dimmers and all this stuff, I tell you about it. You don't have to have all this
stuff but you need some of it, and if you want to improve your recordings and keep from
renting this stuff, we show you how to buy it dirt cheap.
So now, I want to get into some of the things you'll learn on each DVD. And by the way you're
seeing my little Tiki Bar here. I don't know if you want to pan down a little bit to see
the Tiki Bar. This is my set until I build my entire set that's going to be the whole
end of this room. But for now, it's just a little Tiki Bar fold out thing from Home Depot
that cost a couple of hundred dollars including the chairs and this is what we use for our
set.
Now on DVD 1 which you find in this part right here, this is the 'Watch Me First' and this
is DVD 1, I'm going to go over some of the things that you'll learn on DVD 1. So sit
back and relax because there is a load of stuff you get with this course. Now you can
just read the rest of the sales letter that you see below here if you'd like. But this
is a substitute and it's becoming more and more prevalent to people who are using video
web infomercials not instead of long sales letters but in conjunction with long sales
letters so that the people that don't like to read or get a headache from looking at
text on a screen too much can still be exposed to your products. So basically, it's kind
of cool because I'm shooting a web infomercial right this moment to promote the teaching
of a view to shoot web infomercials. So this is an infomercial about an infomercial.
Okay, DVD 1, this is Mike Stewart, the Internet Audio Guy, runs for an hour and 14 minutes.
So some of the things you get there is what color of clothing to work with when you're
on video. Some of the clothing colors will totally ruin your video. You don't want to
do that. We show you the results of a web infomercial I did just a few days before the
event that brought in $9000 in a couple of days, so we show you the results, the actual
facts and figures right there. Now we also show you how to turn a $20 worth of information
in your mind into a $500 product because the video formatting has a much higher perceived
value. So you can take information from your book if you have one which is maybe 20 bucks
and turn it into a $500 product by putting it on video. So we show you how to package
it and do all that stuff.
We show you about the blogs and podcasting which I mentioned earlier. We show you the
psychology of video and audio selling. And Mike really opens up a little bit about himself.
He is a little bit dyslexic and he never had good comprehension from reading but he was
brilliant when he would see and experience things, and the figures that he shows you
will astound you on how many people are like this and you're missing them if all you have
is a written sales letter.
You're going to find the two main formats of video and audio that have changed the way
we do business on the web. They make it so easy and so cheap. In fact, lower in the sales
letter you're going to see nice big windows with sample testimonials and other videos
that we have done that are beautiful. And you no longer have to suffer with the little
inch by inch videos that barely show anything. You can have big full-sized videos that are
very clear, running right off your website with no special hosting or anything. So we're
going to show you those file formats.
Let's see, you're going to learn how to make a portable recording studio for audio with
only three pieces of equipment and one of which is your laptop. So two other little
pieces of equipment and one of them is a microphone, is all you need to have broadcast-quality
audio recording at your fingertips small enough, and we're talking only this big, to carry
with you along with your laptop so you can do audio anywhere you happen to be. Same stuff
is used at your desktop if you just want to use it at home. I'll show you how to do that.
I actually show you how to do a portable – not a portable really so much as a studio in your
home that sounds good just like a professional recording studio. So I show you two methods.
It may cost you 10 bucks to create an area in your house…
