Hello and welcome to Deko Kitchen
I love tunnel cards for christmas
since I was a little child
and today I like to show you
how to make a tunnel card for christmas
To make this kind of card
you will need 5 layers
with different shapes like this
You can download
the template oft he shapes
on my website
This shape builds the background of the card
I will stick a painting on it later in the video
This will be the next layer
this layer will follow
than you take this shape
and this shape will be the last one
and the cover of the card
As next step I cut a peace of paper like this
This will be the side part of the card
In the template you can see lines
where you have to fold the paper
You have to fold the paper like this
on this part you will stick the cover shape
and into this folds you will stick the next layers
onto this part you will glue the background
now I stick both side parts onto the background
Than I take the painting of a winter landscape
which my mother painted for me
so I am able to provide it as download for you ☺
and stick it onto the background cardstock
To give the landscape more shine and sparkle
I use a glitter pen
and draw thin lines onto the snow edges of the picture
That's what it look's like when the glitter has dried
I do the same with the branches of the cutting shapes
Before I put the card together
I put this little bird and some berries onto this two branches
Now it’s time to stick the shapes onto the side parts
To do this I take a small paper stripe (2cm wide)
fold it in the middle
and stick it onto the shape like this
Than I do the same with the other side
Now I put glue onto the paper lashes
and stick the shape onto the side part like this
That's how it look's like with the background and the first layer
Afterwards I will do the next shapes in the same way
this is the cover layer
which I will glue directly onto the lashes of the side part
This is the finished tunnel card!
Thank you for watching my video :-)
I'm looking forward to see you!!!
Bye bye!!!
