Telephone rings. Sales Associate: Thank you for calling Harbor View Apartments. This is Jodie. How may I help you?
Customer: Hi, I want to rent an apartment. Sales Associate: All right, I will be happy to help you with that. Again, my name is Jodie. May I ask yours? Customer: My name is Josh.
Sales Associate: Josh, all right Josh. Tell me a little bit more about the kind of apartment you are looking for.
Customer: I’m looking for a two bedroom apartment with a pool. And, oh yeah, I have a huge dog.
Sales Associate: You have a huge dog, okay. So is there anything in particular that your are looking for in a new two bedroom.
Customer: A garage would be excellent and an extra storage room. Sales Associate: Extra storage space, okay.
Sales Associate: And you said you have a large dog. What size dog do you have? Customer: A German Shepard, about 65 pounds.
Sales Associate: Oh, a German Shepard. Those are the best. All right, Now Josh, tell me when you are looking to move?
Customer: Ah, next month. Sales Associate: Next month. All right, fantastic. Will it just be for you or will someone else be moving with you?
Customer: My wife and one small baby. Sales Associate: Alright, congratulations! Customer: Thank you.
Sales Associate: All right, Josh. Based on what you said, you are looking for a two bedroom apartment – somewhere for your dog and also for your wife and child. And you are looking for a pooled community. Is that correct?
Customer: Yes. Sales Associate: Fantastic!. Well, I think I have the right apartment for you. We do have a two bedroom apartment available next month.
Sales Associate: It’s going to be available mid-month. It is a very large, 1200 square foot, two bedroom apartment. It’s a two bedroom, two bath. It easily accommodates two people. Also it has an outdoor storage unit, which you were looking for. And this apartment actually comes with garage. The garage is just across the street from the apartment. Will that work for you?
Customer: That will be excellent. Sales Associate: OK great. Well, I’d love to have the opportunity to show you this new apartment. Would you have time maybe this week or next to stop by and check it out?
Customer: How about Thursday at three o’clock? Sales Associate: Thursday at 3:00. That would be perfect. I’m going to go ahead and put that in my schedule book. Is it alright if I take your last name and phone number in case anything changes?
Customer: Sure, Josh Smith. Sales Associate: And what is the best number I can reach you at? Customer: 408-555-5555
Sales Associate: All right Josh. Do you have any other questions for me today.
Customer: I don’t and thank you for your help, Jodie. Sales Associate: All right and I appreciate your time and thank you for calling Harbor View Apartments and we will see you soon.
