What's the most important issue to you this election season?
I think foreign policy
is an important issue
I kind of favor a non-interventionist foreign policy
The problems I have
with the current foreign policy
are the infringements on civil liberties
with the NDAA
the National Defense Authorization Act
I thought that was a big overstep of the Presidential powers
Kind of worried about
the constitutional violations to individual liberties
with the expansion
of certain government functions.
Are you hopeful about the future?
I'm optimistic
about the future of the country
because I think, you know,
we have a lot of resilience and
people in the United States
believe in liberty
and if I had to say some words
about this country
I think, you know, government
is determined by the people
so I think that people
will stand up like they have been doing
whether it is protesting government over-reach
of their powers and I think
ultimately will make right...better decisions, I think.
Do you think the political system is broken? If so, how would you fix it?
I think that Americans
would be wise to try
to better understand
the role of government functions
in the first place
the role of Congress
We shouldn't expect them to do
more than they have the powers
in the Constitution to be able to do
and I think it's broken
in a lot of ways
because corporations have
a lot of influence in politics
and I think that
Congress itself
needs to maybe
be checked by limiting
what they can do to really affect
and solve problems
and give more of those rights
over to States
