Mufti Shoaib: He is the cream of the crop,
Mufti Shoaib: and there are two students that are doing intensive memorization in this regard.
Mufti Shoaib: Look at the same surah (Surah A'raaf),
Mufti Shoaib: I will tell this boy to recite backwards very quickly, and I will ask him to recite the verse that comes right before that verse.
Mufti Shoaib: You will see how quickly he reads those verses and you will realize that these kids have definitely defeated computers in their speed.
Mufti Shoaib: Before your eyes can even find the previous verse, this boy will recite the previous verse.
Mufti Shoaib: From the same surah, verse number 25. I will tell Hafidh Asadullah to recite from verse 24 and then recite verse 23 and so on *reading backwards*
Mufti Shoaib: Recite verse number 24 from Surah A'raaf,
*Mufti Shoaib tells Hafidh Asadullah to recite from the 24th verse and then recite from the 23rd verse and so on... Notice: He's only doing this to show their memorization level so there's nothing wrong with it :)
Mufti Shoaib: This question came to me.... Us Huffadh have trouble memorizing the muthashabihat verses, we get lots of mistakes. These kids have worked so hard, how did they manage to memorize them all...
